Sahih Muslim 181a
Suhaib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saying : When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask : Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say : Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said : He would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would he dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious.
صہیب ؓ نے رسولِ اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا فرمان سنایا: ”جب جنتی جنت میں داخل ہو جائیں گے، اس وقت اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: تم کسی اور چیز کے خواہش مند ہو، کہ میں تمھیں اور دوں؟ تو وہ جواب دیں گے: کیا تو نے ہمارے چہرے روشن نہیں کیے؟ کیا تو نے ہمیں جنت میں داخل نہیں کیا اور دوزخ سے نجات نہیں دی؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس پر وہ پردہ اٹھا دے گا، انہیں کوئی ایسی چیز نہیں دی گئی ہو گی جو انھیں اپنے رب عزت و جلال والے کے دیدار سے زیادہ پسندیدہ ہو (ہر نعمت سے دیدار کی نعمت زیادہ محبوب ہو گی)۔“
Suhaib (Radiallahu Anhu) ne Rasul-e-Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka farman sunaya: "Jab jannati jannat mein dakhil ho jayein ge, us waqt Allah Tabarak-o-Ta'ala farmaye ga: Tum kisi aur cheez ke khwahish-mand ho, ke main tumhein aur doon? To woh jawab dein ge: Kya Tu ne hamare chehre roshan nahin kiye? Kya Tu ne humein jannat mein dakhil nahin kiya aur dozakh se najat nahin di? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: 'Is par woh parda utha de ga, inhein koi aisi cheez nahin di gayi hogi jo inhein apne Rabb izzat-o-jalal wale ke deedar se zyada pasandida ho (har naimat se deedar ki naimat zyada mehboob hogi)."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ - قَالَ - يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى تُرِيدُونَ شَيْئًا أَزِيدُكُمْ فَيَقُولُونَ أَلَمْ تُبَيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا أَلَمْ تُدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ وَتُنَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ - قَالَ - فَيَكْشِفُ الْحِجَابَ فَمَا أُعْطُوا شَيْئًا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
