Sahih Muslim 1859c
The tradition has been narrated on the authority of Sa'id bin Musayyib who learnt it from his father. The latter said, I had seen the tree. When I came to the spot afterwards, I could not recognize it.
حضرت سعید بن المسیب اپنے باپ سے بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے اس درخت کو دیکھا، پھر بعد میں اس کے پاس آیا تو اسے پہچان نہ سکا۔
Hazrat Sa'eed bin al Musayyib apne baap se bayan karte hain, maine us darakht ko dekha, phir baad mein uske paas aaya to use pehchan na saka.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الشَّجَرَةَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهَا بَعْدُ فَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهَا.
