Sahih Muslim 1884
Abu Sa`id al-Khudri (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) said (to him), Abu Sa`id (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ), whoever cheerfully accepts Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) as his Apostle is necessarily entitled to enter Paradise. Abu Sa`id (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) wondered at it and said, Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم), repeat it for me. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الل عليه و آله وسلم) did that and said, there is another act which elevates the position of a man in Paradise to a grade one hundred (higher), and the elevation between one grade and the other is equal to the height of the heaven from the earth. Abu Sa`id (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) said, what is that act? He replied, Jihad in the way of Allah! Jihad in the way of Allah!
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے ابو سعید، جو شخص اللہ کے رب ہونے، اسلام کے ضابطہ حیات ہونے اور محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کے نبی ہونے پر راضی ہو گیا، اس کے لیے جنت واجب ہو گئی۔“ ابو سعید کو یہ بات بہت اچھی لگی، تو اس نے عرض کیا، اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! مجھے دوبارہ سنائیے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسے کیا، پھر فرمایا: ”ایک اور خصلت ہے، اس سے بندے کے جنت میں سو درجے بلند کیے جاتے ہیں، دو درجوں کے درمیان آسمان و زمین کے درمیانی فاصلہ کے برابر فاصلہ ہے۔“ ابو سعید نے پوچھا، وہ کون سی خصلت ہے؟ اے اللہ کے رسول! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد، اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد“
Hazrat Abu Said Khudri (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Ae Abu Said, jo shakhs Allah ke Rab hone, Islam ke zabita-e-hayat hone aur Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke Nabi hone par razi ho gaya, us ke liye jannat wajib ho gayi.” Abu Said ko yeh baat bahut acchi lagi, toh us ne arz kiya, ae Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! mujhe dobara sunaiye, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aise kiya, phir farmaya: “Ek aur khasalat hai, is se bande ke jannat mein sau darjay buland kiye jaate hain, do darjon ke darmiyan aasman aur zameen ke darmiyani fasila ke barabar fasila hai.” Abu Said ne poocha, woh kaun si khasalat hai? ae Allah ke Rasool! aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Allah ki rah mein jihad, Allah ki rah mein jihad”
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلاَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ " . فَعَجِبَ لَهَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَعِدْهَا عَلَىَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَفَعَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " وَأُخْرَى يُرْفَعُ بِهَا الْعَبْدُ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ " . قَالَ وَمَا هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " .
