Chapter: It is recommended to select a good animal for the sacrifice and to slaughter it oneself, not delegating it to anyone else, and to say the name of Allah, and to say the Takbir

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الضَّحِيَّةِ وَذَبْحِهَا مُبَاشَرَةً بِلاَ تَوْكِيلٍ وَالتَّسْمِيَةِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ
Sahih Muslim 1966d
This Hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) with a slight variation of wording.
امام صاحب یہی روایت ایک اور استاد سے بیان کرتے ہیں، اس نے سمى و كبر کی بجائے بسم اللہ واللہ اکبر کہا۔
Tawus bayan karte hain, ek aadmi ne Ibn Umar (Raziallahu Anhuma) se kaha, kya Nabi Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ghadde ke Nabiz se mana farmaya hai, unhon ne kaha, Haan, phir Tawus ne kaha, Allah ki qasam! Main ne un se khud suna hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَيَقُولُ " بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ " .
