Chapter: The prohibition of Khamr, which may be made from the juice of grapes, dried dates, unripe dates, raisins and other things that intoxicate

باب تَحْرِيمِ الْخَمْرِ وَبَيَانِ أَنَّهَا تَكُونُ مِنْ عَصِيرِ الْعِنَبِ وَمِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْبُسْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَغَيْرِهَا مِمَّا يُسْكِرُ
Sahih Muslim 1980d
Anas (رضئ ِهللا تعالی عنہ) reported, I was standing amongst the members of my (tribe) and serving them liquor. The rest of the Hadith is the same, but with this variation that Abu Bakr bin Anas said, it was their liquor in those days (prepared from dates), and Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was present there and he did not deny this (fact). Mu'tamir reported on the authority of his father, a person who was with me told me that he had heard Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) saying that, that was their liquor in those days.
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں قبیلہ کے لوگوں کو کھڑا شراب پلا رہا تھا، جیسا کہ اوپر ابن علیہ نے بیان کیا ہے، اس میں یہ بھی ہے تو ابوبکر بن انس نے کہا، ان دنوں ان کا خمر یہی تھا اور حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ موجود تھے، تو حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے اس کا انکار نہ کیا۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain, mein qabila ke logon ko khara sharab pila raha tha, jaisa ke upar Ibn Ulayyah ne bayan kiya hai, is mein yeh bhi hai toh Abu Bakr bin Anas ne kaha, in dinon un ka khamr yahi tha aur Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) maujood thay, toh Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) ne is ka inkar na kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كُنْتُ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْحَىِّ أَسْقِيهِمْ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَنَسٍ كَانَ خَمْرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ . وَأَنَسٌ شَاهِدٌ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ أَنَسٌ ذَاكَ . وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ مَنْ كَانَ مَعِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ كَانَ خَمْرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ .
