Sahih Muslim 22
It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said : I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and they establish Salah, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah (جَلَّ ذُو).
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ کی روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے حکم ملا ہے: کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک لڑتا رہوں یہاں تک کہ وہ اس بات کی شہادت دیں، کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد اللہ کے پیغمبر ہیں اور نماز قائم کریں اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرنے لگیں۔ پس جب وہ یہ سب کچھ کرنے لگیں، تو انھوں نے اپنے خون (جان) اور مال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیا سوائے اسلام کے حق کے اور ان کا حساب اللہ کے سپرد ہے۔“
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radhi Allahu Anhu) ki riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Mujhe hukum mila hai: ke main logon se is waqt tak larta rahoon yahan tak ke woh is baat ki shahadat dein, ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahi aur Muhammad Allah ke paighambar hain aur namaz qaim karein aur zakat ada karne lagein. Pas jab woh yeh sab kuch karne lagein, to unhon ne apne khoon (jaan) aur maal ko mujh se mahfooz kar liya siwaye Islam ke haq ke aur un ka hisab Allah ke supurd hai."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ، مَالِكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
