باب مِنْ فَضَائِلِ عُمَرَ رضى الله تعالى عنه
Sahih Muslim 2400b
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ubaidullah with the same chain of transmitter but with the addition of the words, ‘he abandoned saying prayer over the hypocrites who had died."
یہی روایت امام صاحب دو اساتذہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں اور اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے تو آپ نے ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھنا چھوڑدیا۔
Yehi riwayat Imam Sahib do asatiza se bayan karte hain aur is mein yeh izaafa hai to Aap ne un ki Namaz-e-Janazah parhna chor diya.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ فِي مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ وَزَادَ قَالَ فَتَرَكَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ .
