Sahih Muslim 2413a
Sa'd (ْرضي الله تعالى عنه) reported, this verse was revealed in relation to six persons and I and Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) were amongst them. The polytheists said to the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و ْآله وسلم), do not keep such persons near you. It was upon this that (this verse was revealed) – [And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. If these poor people are sent away, (as desired by the worldly people), it will be contrary to the just treatment (the characteristics of the worldly people.)] (Al-An’aam - 52).
حضرت سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں،یہ آیت میرے بارے میں اتری،"جو لوگ اپنے رب کو صبح وشام پکارتے ہیں،ان کو دھتکارئیے نہیں۔(الانعام آیت نمبر۔52)حضرت سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں،یہ آیت چھ آدمیوں کے بارے میں اتری،میں اورابن مسعود بھی ان میں سے ہیں،مشرکوں نے آپ سے کہاتھا،آپ ان کو قریب کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, yeh Ayat mere bare mein utri, "Jo log apne Rab ko subah-o-sham pukarte hain, un ko dhutkariye nahin. (Al-An'am Ayat Number 52) Hazrat Sa'd (Razi Allahu Anhu) kehte hain, yeh Ayat cheh aadmiyon ke bare mein utri, main aur Ibn Mas'ood bhi un mein se hain, Mushrikeen ne Aap se kaha tha, Aap un ko qareeb karte hain.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، فِيَّ نَزَلَتْ { وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ} قَالَ نَزَلَتْ فِي سِتَّةٍ أَنَا وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ مِنْهُمْ وَكَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ قَالُوا لَهُ تُدْنِي هَؤُلاَءِ .
