Sahih Muslim 3021b
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said in connection with the verse – [And if a woman fears ill treatment from her husband or disinterest, so it is no sin for them if they reach an agreement of peace between themselves; and peace is better;] (An-Nisa - 128) that it was revealed in case of a woman who lived with a person and perhaps he does not want to prolong (his relationship with her) whereas she has had sexual relationship with him (and as a result thereof) she got a child from him and she does not like that she should be divorced, so she says to him: I permit you to live with the other wife.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا اللہ عزوجل کے فرمان،"اور اگر عورت کو اپنے خاوند کی بدسلوکی اور بے رخی کا خوف ہو،"کےبارے میں فرماتی ہیں،یہ آیت اس عورت کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی،جو کسی مرد کی بیوی ہے،شاید وہ اس سے زیادہ دلچسپی نہیں رکھتا،وہ اس کوپسند نہیں ہے،لیکن وہ اس کے ساتھ عرصہ گزارچکی ہے اور اولاد بھی ہے اور اس کویہ بات ناپسند ہے کہ خاوند اس کو چھوڑدے،اس لیے وہ اس کو کہتی ہے،تجھے میرے معاملہ میں آزادی ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) Allah Azzawajal ke farman, "Aur agar aurat ko apne khawind ki badsulooki aur be rukhi ka khauf ho," ke bare mein farmati hain, yeh Ayat us aurat ke bare mein nazil hui, jo kisi mard ki biwi hai, shayad woh us se zyada dilchaspi nahi rakhta, woh us ko pasand nahi hai, lekin woh us ke sath arsa guzar chuki hai aur aulad bhi hai aur us ko yeh baat napasand hai ke khawind us ko chhod de, is liye woh us ko kehti hai, tujhe mere mamle mein azadi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا} قَالَتْ نَزَلَتْ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَكُونُ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ لاَ يَسْتَكْثِرَ مِنْهَا وَتَكُونُ لَهَا صُحْبَةٌ وَوَلَدٌ فَتَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُفَارِقَهَا فَتَقُولُ لَهُ أَنْتَ فِي حِلٍّ مِنْ شَأْنِي .
