Sahih Muslim 3023d
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, these verses were revealed in Makka – [Who do not invoke any god apart from Allah, who do not take a life which Allah has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate; and anyone who does so, will be punished for the crime. Torment will be doubled for him on Resurrection Day, and he will remain disgraced forever in it.] (Al-Furqaan: 68-69). Thereupon the polytheists said, Islam is of no avail to us for we have made peer with Allah and we killed the soul which Allah had forbidden to do, and we committed debauchery, and it was (on this occasion) that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this verse - [As for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, they are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds. For Allah is All Forgiving, Most Merciful.] (Al-Furqaan – 70). Ibn Abbis said, he who enters the fold of Islam and understands its command and then kills the soul, then there is no repentance for him.
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتےہیں،یہ آیت مکہ میں اتری،وہ لوگ جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کسی اور الٰہ کونہیں پکارتے ہیں،اس آیت کومُھانا تک پڑھا،اس پرمشرکوں نے کہا،ہمیں اسلام لانے کا کیافائدہ(وہ عذاب سے ہمیں کیسے بچائے گا) ہم تو اللہ کے ساتھ شریک کرچکے ہیں اور اس نفس کو بھی ہم نے قتل کیا ہے،جس کا قتل اللہ نے حرام ٹھہرایا ہے اور بے حیائیوں کا بھی ہم نے ارتکاب کیا ہے؟اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ حصہ اتارا،مگرجس نے توبہ کی،ایمان لایا اور اچھے عمل کیے،(آیت نمبر70)کےآخر تک،حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا:رہاوہ مسلمان جو مسلمان ہوگیا اوراسلام کو سمجھ لیا اور اچھے عمل کیے،پھر قتل کا ارتکاب کیا،تواس کی توبہ کا اعتبار نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) bayan karte hain, yeh ayat Makkah mein utri, woh log jo Allah Tala ke sath kisi aur Ilah ko nahin pukarte hain, is ayat ko muhana tak padha, is par mushrikon ne kaha, humein Islam laane ka kya faida (woh azab se humein kaise bachayega) hum to Allah ke sath shareek kar chuke hain aur is nafs ko bhi hum ne qatl kiya hai, jis ka qatl Allah ne haram thehraya hai aur be hayaaiyon ka bhi hum ne irtikaab kiya hai? Is par Allah Tala ne yeh hissa utara, magar jis ne taubah ki, imaan laya aur acche amal kiye, (ayat number 70) ke aakhir tak, Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) ne farmaya: Raha woh Musalman jo Musalman ho gaya aur Islam ko samajh liya aur acche amal kiye, phir qatl ka irtikaab kiya, to us ki taubah ka eitibar nahin hai.
حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ اللَّيْثِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، - يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ - عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،قَالَ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ بِمَكَّةَ { وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ { مُهَانًا} فَقَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنَّا الإِسْلاَمُ وَقَدْ عَدَلْنَا بِاللَّهِ وَقَدْ قَتَلْنَا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَأَتَيْنَا الْفَوَاحِشَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { إِلاَّ مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلاً صَالِحًا} إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ . قَالَ فَأَمَّا مَنْ دَخَلَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ وَعَقَلَهُ ثُمَّ قَتَلَ فَلاَ تَوْبَةَ لَهُ .
