Chapter: It is recommended for the woman who is performing ghusl following menses to apply a piece of cloth scented with musk to the site of the bleeding

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ اسْتِعْمَالِ الْمُغْتَسِلَةِ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ فِرْصَةً مِنْ مِسْكٍ فِي مَوْضِعِ الدَّمِ
Sahih Muslim 332e
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) reported: Asma bint Shakal (رضي الله تعالى عنها), (a woman from Ansar) came to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and said: O' Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), how one amongst us should take a bath after the menstruation, and the rest of the Hadith is the same and there is no mention of bathing because of sexual intercourse.
حضرت عائشہ ؓ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ اسماء بنت شکل رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور کہا: اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! جب ہم میں سے کوئی عورت غسل حیض کرے (حیض سے پاکیزگی حاصل کرنے کے لیے) تو کیسے نہائے؟ اور اوپر والی حدیث بیان کی اور اس میں غسل جنابت کا تذکرہ نہیں کیا۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai ke Asma bint Shakal (Radi Allahu Anha) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur kaha: 'Ay Allah ke Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Jab hum mein se koi aurat ghusl-e-haiz kare (haiz se pakeezgi hasil karne ke liye) to kaise nahaye?' Aur upar wali hadith bayan ki aur is mein ghusl-e-janabat ka tazkira nahi kiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ شَكَلٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَغْتَسِلُ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ .
