Chapter: The virtue of the Subh and the `Asr prayers, and of maintaining them

باب فَضْلِ صَلاَتَىِ الصُّبْحِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَيْهِمَا
Sahih Muslim 633b
Waki narrated (this Hadith) with the same chain of transmitters (that the Prophet ﷺ) said, you will be soon presented before your Lord, and you will see Him as you are seeing this moon, and then recited (the above-mentioned verse). But (in this Hadith) no mention is made of Jarir ( رضئہللا تعالی عنہ).
امام صاحب ایک اور استاد سے مذکورہ بالا روایت بیان کرتے ہیں، اس میں ہے: ”ہاں تم یقیناً اپنے رب کے سامنے پیش کیے جاؤ گے تو اسے اس طرح دیکھو گے، جس طرح اس چاند کو دیکھتے ہو“، پھر راوی نے قرأ کے بعد جریر کا لفظ بیان نہیں کیا۔
Imam sahab ek aur ustad se mazkoora bala riwayat bayan karte hain, is mein hai: 'Haan tum yaqeenan apne Rab ke samne pesh kiye jaoge toh usay is tarah dekhoge, jis tarah is chand ko dekhte ho', phir raawi ne Qura'a ke baad Jarir ka lafz bayan nahi kiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتُعْرَضُونَ عَلَى رَبِّكُمْ فَتَرَوْنَهُ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ " . وَقَالَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ جَرِيرٌ .
