Sahih Muslim 715w
It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah ( رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) who said, we accompanied the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) on an expedition. When we came (back) to Medina and were going to enter our houses, he said, wait and enter (your houses) in the later part of the evening so that a woman with disheveled hair may have used the comb, and a woman whose husband has been away from home may have removed the hair from her private parts.
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، ہم ایک غزوہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے، تو جب ہم مدینہ پہنچے، ہم نے گھروں میں داخل ہونا چاہا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”ٹھہر جاؤ، تاکہ ہم رات کو (عشاء کے وقت) داخل ہوں، تاکہ پراگندہ بالوں والی بال درست کر لے اور جس عورت کا شوہر غائب تھا، وہ زیر ناف بال صاف کر لے۔“
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (Raziallahu Anhuma) bayan karte hain, hum ek Ghazwah mein Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath the, to jab hum Madeenah pahunche, hum ne gharon mein dakhil hona chaha, to Aap ne farmaya: "Thahar jao, taake hum raat ko (Isha ke waqt) dakhil hon, taake paraganda balon wali baal durust kar le aur jis aurat ka shauhar ghaib tha, woh zer-e-naf baal saaf kar le."
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزَاةٍ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ذَهَبْنَا لِنَدْخُلَ فَقَالَ " أَمْهِلُوا حَتَّى نَدْخُلَ لَيْلاً - أَىْ عِشَاءً - كَىْ تَمْتَشِطَ الشَّعِثَةُ وَتَسْتَحِدَّ الْمُغِيبَةُ " .
