Sahih Muslim 717b
Abdullah bin Shaqiq narrated that he asked Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) whether the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to observe the forenoon prayer. She said, ‘no, but when he came back from the journey’.
امام صاحب دوسرے استاد کے واسطہ سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن شفیق بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے سوال کیا، کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا، نہیں، اِلَّا یہ کہ سفر سے واپس آئیں۔
Imam sahab doosre ustad ke waste se naqal karte hain ke Abdullah bin Shaqeeq bayan karte hain, mein ne Aisha (Radiyallahu Anha) se sawal kiya, kya Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) chasht ki namaz parhte thay? Unhone jawab diya, nahi, illa yeh ke safar se wapas aayein.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَيْسِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَتْ لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَجِيءَ مِنْ مَغِيبِهِ
