Sahih Muslim 717a
Abdullah bin Shaqiq narrated that he asked Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) whether the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to observe the forenoon prayer. She said, ‘no, but when he came back from the journey’.
عبداللہ بن شفیق بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے پوچھا، کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا، نہیں، اِلاَّ یہ کہ سفر سے واپس آئیں۔
Abdullah bin Shaqeeq bayan karte hain ke maine Aisha (Radiyallahu Anha) se pucha, kya Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) chasht ki namaz parhte thay? Unhone kaha, nahi, illa yeh ke safar se wapas aayein.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَتْ لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَجِيءَ مِنْ مَغِيبِهِ .
