Chapter: What to say when entering the masjid
باب مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ ‏‏

Chapter: It is recommended to greet the masjid by praying two rak`ah, and it is disliked to sit before praying these two rak`ah, and this is prescribed at all times
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ تَحِيَّةِ الْمَسْجِدِ بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَرَاهَةِ الْجُلُوسِ قَبْلَ صَلاَتِهِمَا وَأَنَّهَا مَشْرُوعَةٌ فِي جَمِيعِ الأَوْقَاتِ

Chapter: It is recommended to pray two rak`ah in the masjid for one who has come from a journey, when he first arrives
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِمَنْ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ أَوَّلَ قُدُومِهِ ‏‏

Chapter: It is recommended to pray Duha, the least of which is two rak`ah, the best of which is eight, and the average of which is four or six, and encouragement to do so regularly
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ صَلاَةِ الضُّحَى وَأَنَّ أَقَلَّهَا رَكْعَتَانِ وَأَكْمَلَهَا ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَوْسَطَهَا أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ أَوْ سِتٌّ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَى الْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَيْهَا

Chapter: It is recommended to pray two rak`ah for the sunnah of Fajr. And encouragement to pray them regularly, and to make them brief, and to persist in offering them, and clarifying what is recommended to recite therein
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ رَكْعَتَيْ سُنَّةِ الْفَجْرِ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَيْهِمَا وَتَخْفِيفِهِمَا وَالْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَيْهِمَا وَبَيَانِ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ فِيهِمَا

Chapter: The virtue of the regular sunnah prayers before and after the obligatory prayers, and their numbers
باب فَضْلِ السُّنَنِ الرَّاتِبَةِ قَبْلَ الْفَرَائِضِ وَبَعْدَهُنَّ وَبَيَانِ عَدَدِهِنَّ

Chapter: It is permissible to offer voluntary prayers standing or sitting, and to stand and sit in the same rak`ah
باب جَوَازِ النَّافِلَةِ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا وَفِعْلِ بَعْضِ الرَّكْعَةِ قَائِمًا وَبَعْضِهَا قَاعِدًا ‏

Chapter: Night prayers and the number of rak`ah offered by the Prophet (saws) at night, and that Witr is one rak`ah, and a one-rak`ah prayer is correct
باب صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَعَدَدِ رَكَعَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَّ الْوِتْرَ رَكْعَةٌ وَأَنَّ الرَّكْعَةَ صَلاَةٌ صَحِيحَةٌ

Chapter: Night prayer, and the one who sleeps and misses it or is sick
باب جَامِعِ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَمَنْ نَامَ عَنْهُ أَوْ مَرِضَ ‏

Chapter: One who fears that he will not get up at the end of the night, then he should pray Witr at the beginning of the night
باب مَنْ خَافَ أَنْ لاَ يَقُومَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيُوتِرْ أَوَّلَهُ ‏

Chapter: The best prayer is that in which one stands for a long time (tuwlul-qunut)

باب أَمْرِ مَنْ نَعَسَ فِي صَلاَتِهِ أَوِ اسْتَعْجَمَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ أَوِ الذِّكْرُ بِأَنْ يَرْقُدَ أَوْ يَقْعُدَ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ

Chapter: The command to keep refreshing one’s knowledge of the Qur’an and that it is disliked to say I have forgotten such-and-such a verse, but it is permissible to say I have been caused to forget
