Chapter: The virtue of the regular sunnah prayers before and after the obligatory prayers, and their numbers

باب فَضْلِ السُّنَنِ الرَّاتِبَةِ قَبْلَ الْفَرَائِضِ وَبَعْدَهُنَّ وَبَيَانِ عَدَدِهِنَّ
Sahih Muslim 728d
Ummul Momineen Umm Habiba (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, if any Muslim servant (of Allah) performed ablution, and performed it well, and then observed every day, the rest of the Hadith is the same.
ام حبیبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو مسلمان بندہ بھی وضو کرتا ہے اور اچھی طرح کامل وضو کرتا ہے، پھر ہر دن اللہ تعالیٰ کی خوشنودی کے لیے۔۔۔۔۔“ آگے مذکورہ حدیث بیان کی۔
Umm-e-Habiba (Radiyallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne farmaya: 'Jo musalman banda bhi wazu karta hai aur achi tarah kamil wazu karta hai, phir har din Allah Ta'ala ki khushnoodi ke liye.....' aage mazkoora hadith bayan ki.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى لِلَّهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ " . فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ .
