باب الدُّعَاءِ فِي الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ

Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that while the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was delivering the sermon on Friday, people stood up before him and said in a loud voice, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), there is a drought and the trees have become yellow, the animals have died; and the rest of the Hadith is the same, and in the narration transmitted by Abdul A'la the words are, ‘the clouds cleared from Madina and it began to rain around it and not a single drop of rain fell in Madina. And as I looked towards Madina, I found it hollow like (the hollowness of) a basin.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جمعے کے دن خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ لوگ کھڑے ہو کر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے پکارنے لگے اور اےاللہ کے نبی! بارش بند ہوگئی، پودے سرخ ہو گئے یا درختوں کے پتے سوکھ گئے اور مویشی مرنے لگے۔۔۔ آگے مذکورہ بالا حدیث ہے اور عبدالاعلیٰ کی روایت میں ہے مدینہ سے بادل چھٹ گئے اور اس کے ارد گرد بارش برسانے لگے اور مدینہ میں ایک قطرہ بھی نہیں برس رہاتھا میں نے مدینہ کو دیکھا وہ ایک دائرہ یا ٹوپی کی طرح اندر سے بارش سے محفوظ تھا۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (radiyallahu ta'ala anhu) bayan karte hain ke: Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) jumay ke din khutba de rahe thay ke log khare ho kar Aap (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ke saamne pukarane lage aur Ay Allah ke Nabi! barish band ho gayi, paude surkh ho gaye ya darakhton ke patte sookh gaye aur maweshi marne lage... aage mazkoora bala hadees hai aur Abdula'la ki riwayat mein hai Madina se baadal chhat gaye aur is ke gird-o-nawah barish barsane lage aur Madina mein ek qatra bhi nahi baras raha tha main ne Madina ko dekha wo ek daira ya topi ki tarah andar se barish se mehfooz tha.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَصَاحُوا وَقَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ قَحِطَ الْمَطَرُ وَاحْمَرَّ الشَّجَرُ وَهَلَكَتِ الْبَهَائِمُ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى فَتَقَشَّعَتْ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ . فَجَعَلَتْ
