Abdullah Ibn Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “And of the people are some who purchase idle talks, to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah.” (Quran 31:6) [Tafseer Mazhari, by Imam Ahmad Raza Khan رحمة الله عليه] : “Idle talk” refers to singing. ** This Hadith has a Sahih chain of narrators, however, Imam Bukhari رحمة الله عليه and Imam Muslim رحمة الله عليه did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّشْتَرِیْ لَھْوَ الْحَدِیْثِ لِیُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ ) ( لقمان : 6 ) ’’ اور کچھ لوگ کھیل کی باتیں خریدتے ہیں کہ اللہ کی راہ سے بہکا دیں بے سمجھے ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) میں خدا کی قسم ’’ گانا ‘‘ مراد ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain : Wa minal nnasi man yashtare lahw alhadeethi li yudilla AAan sabeeli Allahi ( Luqman : 6 ) ’Aur kuch log khel ki baaten kharidte hain ke Allah ki rah se behka den be samjhe ’’. ( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih ) Mein Khuda ki qasam ’’gana‘‘ murad hai . ** Yeh hadees sahih al asnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَكَّارُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْقَاضِي، ثنا حُمَيْدٌ الْخَرَّاطُ، عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الصَّهْبَاءِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: {وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهُوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ} [لقمان: 6] قَالَ: «هُوَ وَاللَّهِ الْغِنَاءُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3542 - صحيح
