Mustadrak Al Hakim 1795
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would return from a journey and see his family, he would say: "Auban auban ila rabbina tawban la yughadiru 'alaina hawban" (We return, we return to our Lord, repenting, so that no sin remains upon us). **Note:** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of both Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but neither of them narrated it. Imam Bukhari only narrated the narrations of 'Ukaramah, and Imam Muslim only narrated the narration of Samak bin Harb.
" حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب رسول اللہ ﷺ سفر سے واپس آتے اور اپنے گھر والوں کو دیکھتے تو یوں فرماتے :’’ اَوْبًا اَوْبًا اِلٰی رَبِّنَا تَوْبًا لَایُغَادِرُ عَلَیْنَا حَوْبًا ‘‘ ’’ ہم لوٹ آئے ، ہم لوٹ آئے ۔ ہم اپنے رب کی بارگاہ میں توبہ کرتے ہیں ، ہمارے اوپر کسی گناہ کا بوجھ نہ رہے ۔ ‘‘ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ دونوں کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن دونوں نے ہی اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔ امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے صرف عکرمہ کی روایات نقل کی ہیں اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے صرف سماک بن حرب کی روایت نقل کی ہے ۔"
Hazrat Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Jab Rasul Allah SAW safar se wapas aate aur apne ghar walon ko dekhte to yun farmate :’’ Auban Auban ila Rabbina tauban la yughadiru alaina hawban ‘‘ ’’ Hum laut aaye, hum laut aaye. Hum apne Rab ki bargah mein tauba karte hain, humare upar kisi gunah ka bojh na rahe. ‘‘ ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih donon ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin donon ne hi ise naqal nahin kiya. Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih ne sirf Akarma ki riwayat naqal ki hain aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne sirf Samak bin Harb ki riwayat naqal ki hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَزَّازُ إِمْلَاءً بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَاكِرٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَرَأَى أَهْلَهُ، قَالَ: «أَوْبًا أَوْبًا إِلَى رَبِّنَا تَوْبًا لَا يُغَادِرُ عَلَيْنَا حَوْبًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ بَيْنَ الشَّيْخَيْنِ لِأَنَّ الْبُخَارِيَّ تَفَرَّدَ بِالِاحْتِجَاجِ بِعِكْرِمَةَ، وَمُسْلِمٌ بِسِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "
