Mustadrak Al Hakim 1872
Abu Umaar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Shaddaad ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), a companion who participated in the Battle of Badr, said: Once, they (the companions) were traveling and the caravan members gathered at a tablecloth for breakfast. (When they had finished eating) Shaddaad said, "Fold this tablecloth! (After a while of) chatting, he said: I seek forgiveness from Allah. From the time I embraced Islam until today, I have never spoken a word without thinking except for this statement of mine today. (Therefore, do not preserve this statement of mine but rather preserve what I will explain to you that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say this, but rather you (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'O Shaddaad! When you see people gathering gold and silver, then you gather the treasure of these words: ‘O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters and I ask You for guidance. And I ask You for gratefulness for Your blessings and for good worship. And I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue and good character. And I ask You for forgiveness for all the things that You know and I ask You for the good of that which You know and I seek refuge in You from the evil of that which You know and I seek refuge in You from the evil of that which You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.’"
حضرت ابوعمار رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں : شداد بن اوس رضی اللہ عنہ بدری صحابی ہیں ، آپ فرماتے ہیں : ایک مرتبہ یہ لوگ سفر میں تھے کہ اہلِ قافلہ ناشتہ کرنے کے لیے دسترخوان پر جمع ہوئے ( جب کھانا کھا چکے ) تو شداد کہنے لگے : یہ دسترخوان سمیٹو ! ( کچھ دیر ) گپ شپ کر لیں ، پھر بولے : میں اللہ سے معافی مانگتا ہوں ۔ میں جب سے مسلمان ہوا ہوں اس وقت سے آج تک کبھی بھی کوئی بات بغیر سوچے سمجھے نہیں کی سوائے آج کی اس بات کے ۔ ( اس لیے میری اس بات کو محفوظ نہ رکھنا بلکہ جس بات کے بارے میں یہ وضاحت کر دوں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ہے اس کو محفوظ کر لیا کرو ) رسول اللہ ﷺ نے یوں نہیں فرمایا بلکہ آپ علیہ السلام نے یوں فرمایا ہے : اے شداد ! جب تم لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ وہ سونا اور چاندی جمع کر رہے ہیں تو تم ان کلمات کا خزانہ جمع کرنا ۔’’ اے اللہ میں تمام امور میں ثابت قدمی کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور ہدایت کی درخواست کرتا ہوں ۔ اور میں تجھ سے نعمتوں کا شکر کرنے اور حسنِ عبادت ( کی توفیق ) مانگتا ہوں ۔ اور میں تجھ سے سلامتی والا دل اور سچ بولنے والی زبان اور حسنِ خلق مانگتا ہوں ۔ اور میں تجھ سے ان تمام چیزوں کی معافی مانگتا ہوں تو جانتا ہے اور میں تجھ سے اس چیز کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں جس کو تو جانتا ہے اور میں اس چیز کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جس کو تو جانتا ہے اور اس چیز کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جس کو تو جانتا ہے بے شک تو ہی ’’ علامّ الغیّوب ‘‘ ہے ۔
Hazrat Abu Ammar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) riwayat karte hain : Shaddad bin Aus (رضي الله تعالى عنه) badri sahabi hain, aap farmate hain : Ek martaba ye log safar mein the ke ahl-e-qaafila nashta karne ke liye dastarkhwan par jama hue ( jab khana kha chuke ) to Shaddad kahne lage : Ye dastarkhwan sameto! ( kuch der ) gap shap kar len, phir bole : Main Allah se maafi mangta hun. Main jab se musalman hua hun us waqt se aaj tak kabhi bhi koi baat baghair soche samjhe nahin ki siwaye aaj ki is baat ke. ( is liye meri is baat ko mahfooz na rakhna balke jis baat ke bare mein ye wazahat kar dun ke Rasul Allah SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya hai us ko mahfooz kar liya karo ) Rasul Allah SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ne yun nahin farmaya balke aap Alaihis Salam ne yun farmaya hai : Aye Shaddad! Jab tum logon ko dekho ke wo sona aur chandi jama kar rahe hain to tum in kalimat ka khazanah jama karna. ''Aye Allah main tamam umoor mein sabat qadmi ka sawal karta hun aur hidayat ki darkhwast karta hun. Aur main tujhse naimaton ka shukar karne aur husn-e-ibadat ( ki taufiq ) mangta hun. Aur main tujhse salamati wala dil aur sach bolne wali zaban aur husn-e-khulq mangta hun. Aur main tujhse in tamam cheezon ki maafi mangta hun to janta hai aur main tujhse is cheez ki bhalai mangta hun jis ko tu janta hai aur main is cheez ke shar se teri panaah chahta hun jis ko tu janta hai aur is cheez ke shar se teri panaah chahta hun jis ko tu janta hai be shak tu hi ''Allam-ul-Ghuyoob'' hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَزَّازُ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ الْيَمَامِيُّ، ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ شَدَّادًا أَبَا عَمَّارٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا هُمْ فِي سَفَرٍ إِذْ نَزَلَ الْقَوْمُ يَتَصَبَّحُونَ، فَقَالَ شَدَّادٌ: أَدْنُوا هَذِهِ السُّفْرَةَ نَعْبَثُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مَا تَكَلَّمْتُ بِكَلِمَةٍ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَزُمُّهَا، وَأَخْطِمُهَا قَبْلَ كَلِمَتِي هَذِهِ لَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَلَكِنْ قَالَ: يَا شَدَّادُ، إِذَا رَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ، فَاكْنِزْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ التَّثْبِيتَ فِي الْأُمُورِ، وَعَزِيمَةَ الرُّشْدِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا، وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا، وَخُلُقًا مُسْتَقِيمًا، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»
