Jabir ibn Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says: Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I ask Your forgiveness and I repent to You. Whoever recites this in a gathering where Allah is being remembered, it is as if he has placed a seal on it (meaning their rewards are preserved). And whoever recites this in a gathering where vain talk is taking place, it will be an expiation for him. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but it is not narrated in Sahih Muslim. It is narrated by Abu Barzah al-Aslami.
" حضرت جبیر بن مطعم رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : جو شخص یہ دعا مانگے : سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ ، سبحانک اللھم وبحمدک ، اشھد ان لا الہ الا انت استغفرک واتوب الیک ۔ جو آدمی یہ دعا ذکر اللہ کی مجلس میں پڑھے تو ایسے ہے جیسے ان پر مہر لگ گئی ہو اور جو آدمی یہ دعا لغویات کی مجلس میں پڑھے ، اس کے لیے یہ دعا کفارہ ہو گی ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن اسے صحیحین میں نقل نہیں کیا گیا ۔ ابوبرزہ اسلمی کی شاہد حدیث یہ ہے :"
Hazrat Jabir bin Mut'im (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya : jo shakhs ye dua mange : Subhan Allah Wa Bihamdihi , Subhanaka Allahumma Wa Bihamdika , Ashhadu An La Ilaha Illa Anta Astagfiruka Wa Atubu Ilaik . jo aadmi ye dua zikr Allah ki majlis mein padhe to aise hai jaise un per mohar lag gayi ho aur jo aadmi ye dua laghwiyat ki majlis mein padhe , is ke liye ye dua kaffara ho gi . ** ye hadees Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin ise sahihain mein naqal nahin kiya gaya . Abu Barza Islami ki shahid hadees ye hai :
فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأُوَيْسِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ اللَّهَبِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْفَرَّاءُ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "" مَنْ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ، فَقَالَهَا فِي مَجْلِسِ ذِكْرٍ كَانَتْ كَالطَّابِعِ يُطْبَعُ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا فِي مَجْلِسِ لَغْوٍ كَانَتْ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ
