Mustadrak Al Hakim 2550
Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever says three times: (Astaghfirullah-alladhi laa ilaaha illaa huwal-hayyul-qayyoomu, wa atoobu ilaih - thrice) ‘I seek forgiveness from Allah besides Whom there is no deity worthy of worship, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence, and I turn in repentance to Him’ - his sins will be forgiven, even if he fled from the battlefield.” ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy upon him), but it is not narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
" حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : جو شخص تین مرتبہ یہ دعا مانگے : ( اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰہَ الَّذِیْ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّوْمُ ، وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ ثَلَاثًا غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوْبُہُ ) ’’ میں اس اللہ سے مغفرت مانگتا ہوں جس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں وہ حیی القیّوم ہے ‘‘۔ اس کے تمام گناہ بخش دیئے جاتے ہیں اگرچہ وہ میدانِ جنگ سے بھاگنے والا ہو ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن اسے صحیحین میں نقل نہیں کیا گیا ۔"
Hazrat Ibn Masood Razi Allah Anhu farmate hain keh Rasul Allah SAW ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs teen martaba yeh dua mange: (Astaghfirullah allazi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum, wa atoobu ilaih thrice) Ghufirat zunoobuhu. ''Mein is Allah se Maghfirat mangta hun jis ke siwa koi ibadat ke layeq nahin woh Hayyul Qayyum hai'' Iske tamam gunah bakhsh diye jate hain agarche woh maidaan e jang se bhagne wala ho. ** Yeh hadees Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin ise sahihain mein naqal nahin kya gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَالَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ، وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ، ثَلَاثًا غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ فَارًّا مِنَ الزَّحْفِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 2550 - على شرط مسلم
