Mustadrak Al Hakim 3101
Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the order of prohibition of alcohol was revealed, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) prayed: O Allah! Decree for us a satisfactory order regarding alcohol, so this verse of Surah Baqarah was revealed: "They ask you about wine and gambling." (Al-Baqarah: 219) (Translation Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan). Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was called and this verse was recited to him, he again prayed: O Allah! Give us some satisfactory guidance regarding alcohol. Then this verse of Surah Ma'idah was revealed: "O you who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination of Satan's handiwork; then avoid (these) that you may prosper." (Al-Ma'idah: 90) (Translation Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan). Then Umar was called and this verse was recited to him, when (the recitation) reached: "Will you not then abstain?" (Al-Ma'idah: 91) (Translation Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan). Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We abstain. ** This Hadith is Sahih according to the standard of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : جب شراب کی حرمت کا حکم نازل ہوا تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے دعا مانگی : یا اللہ ! ہمارے لیے شراب کے متعلق کوئی تسلی بخش حکم فرما ، تو سورۂ بقرہ کی یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : یَسْئَلُوْنَکَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَ الْمَیْسِرِ ( البقرۃ : 219 ) ’’ تم سے شراب اور جوئے کا حکم پوچھتے ہیں ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ۔ پھر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو بلا کر یہ آیت سنائی گئی ، انہوں نے پھر دعا مانگی : یا اللہ ! شراب کے متعلق ہمارے لیے کوئی تسلی بخش ارشاد فرما ۔ تو پھر سورۂ مائدہ کی یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : یٰٓاَیُّھَا الَّذِیْنَ ٰامَنُوْآ اِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَ الْمَیْسِرُ وَ الْاَنْصَابُ وَ الْاَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّیْطٰنِ فَاجْتَنِبُوْہُ لَعَلَّکُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ( المائدۃ : 90 ) ’’ اے ایمان والو ! شراب اور جُوا اور بُت اور پانسے ناپاک ہی ہیں شیطانی کام تو ان سے بچتے رہنا کہ تم فلاح پاؤ ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ۔ پھر حضرت عمر کو بلا کر یہ آیت سنائی گئی ، جب اس مقام پر پہنچے : فَھَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّنْتَھُوْنَ ( المائدۃ : 91 ) ’’ تو کیا تم باز آئے ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ۔ تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بولے : ہم رُک گئے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Jab sharaab ki hurmat ka hukm nazil hua to Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne dua maangi : Ya Allah ! Hamare liye sharaab ke mutalliq koi tasalli bakhsh hukm farma, to Sura-e-Baqarah ki yeh ayat nazil hui : Yas'alunaka 'anil-khamri wal-maysiri ( al-Baqarah : 219 ) '' Tum se sharaab aur juay ka hukm puchte hain ''. ( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih ) . Phir Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko bula kar yeh ayat sunaayi gayi, unhon ne phir dua maangi : Ya Allah ! Sharaab ke mutalliq hamare liye koi tasalli bakhsh irshad farma . To phir Sura-e-Maidah ki yeh ayat nazil hui : Ya ayyuhal-lazeena amano innamal-khamru wal-maysiru wal-ansabu wal-azlamu rijsun min 'amali-shaytan fajtanibuhu la'allakum tuflihun ( al-Maidah : 90 ) '' Ae imaan walo ! Sharaab aur juwa aur but aur panse napak hi hain shaytani kaam to in se bachte rehna ki tum falaah pao ''. ( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih ) . Phir Hazrat Umar ko bula kar yeh ayat sunaayi gayi, jab is maqam par pahunche : Fahal antum muntahoon ( al-Maidah : 91 ) '' To kya tum baaz aaye ''. ( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih ) . To Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bole : Hum ruk gaye . ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaihema ne ise naql nahin kiya .
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ. . . . . . .، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ، قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شَافِيًا» . فَنَزَلَتْ: {يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ} [البقرة: 219] الَّتِي فِي سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنَ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شَافِيًا» ، فَنَزَلَتِ الَّتِي فِي الْمَائِدَةِ، فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ: {فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ} [المائدة: 91] قَالَ عُمَرُ: «قَدِ انْتَهَيْنَا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3101 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
