Mustadrak Al Hakim 3112
Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When this verse was revealed: "حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی ( البقرۃ : 238 )" "Guard strictly (five obligatory) prayers especially the most important prayer (i.e. Asr Prayer)." (Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan) (In the same verse), the words "وَصَلَاۃُ الْعَصْر" (and the Asr prayer) were also present. Then, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we continued to recite this verse in the same way. Then, Allah Almighty abrogated it and revealed this verse: "حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی ( البقرۃ : 238 )" "Guard strictly (five obligatory) prayers especially the most important prayer." (Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan) A person asked him: "Is this (middle prayer) the Asr prayer?" He replied: "I have told you how this verse was revealed and how it was abrogated. And Allah knows best." ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Shaykhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) did not narrate it. **
" حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی ( البقرۃ : 238 ) ’’ نگہبانی کرو سب نمازوں اور بیچ کی نماز کی ( اور عصر کی نماز کی ) ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ( اسی آیت میں ) ’’ وَصَلَاۃُ الْعَصْر ‘‘ ( کے الفاظ بھی ہیں ) پھر ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے عہد میں اسی طرح یہ آیت پڑھتے رہے ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کو منسوخ کر کے یہ آیت نازل کی : حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی ( البقرۃ : 238 ) ’’ نگہبانی کرو سب نمازوں اور بیچ کی نماز کی ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) آپ سے ایک شخص نے پوچھا : کیا یہ نماز عصر ہے ؟ تو آپ بولے : میں نے تمہیں بتا دیا ہے کہ یہ آیت کیسے نازل ہوئی اور کیسے منسوخ ہوئی ۔ واللہ اعلم ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib RA farmate hain : Jab yeh ayat nazil hui : Hafizu alassalawati wassalati alwusta ( Albaqarah : 238 ) '' Nigahbani karo sab namaazon aur beech ki namaz ki ( aur Asr ki namaz ki ) ''۔ ( Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rehmatullah Alaih ) ( Isi ayat mein ) '' Wasalatu al Asr '' ( ke alfaz bhi hain ) phir hum Rasulullah SAW ke ahd mein isi tarah yeh ayat parhte rahe . Allah Ta'ala ne isko mansukh kar ke yeh ayat nazil ki : Hafizu alassalawati wassalati alwusta ( Albaqarah : 238 ) '' Nigahbani karo sab namaazon aur beech ki namaz ki ''۔ ( Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rehmatullah Alaih ) Aap se ek shakhs ne pucha : kya yeh namaz Asr hai ? To aap bole : maine tumhen bata diya hai ki yeh ayat kaise nazil hui aur kaise mansukh hui . Wallahu A'lam . ** Yeh hadees Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Shaikhin Rehmatullah Alaihema ne ise naqal nahin kiya .
أَخْبَرَنِي مُكْرَمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، ثنا أَبُو. . . . . . .، ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، حَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ: "" لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: «حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ» فَقَرَأْنَاهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ نَقْرَأَهَا، ثُمَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ نَسَخَهَا فَأَنْزَلَ: {حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى} [البقرة: 238] "" فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: أَهِيَ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ؟ فَقَالَ: «أَخْبَرْتُكَ كَيْفَ نَزَلَتْ وَكَيْفَ نَسَخَهَا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3112 - على شرط مسلم
