Explanation of Surah Al-Ma'idah

Mustadrak Al Hakim 3224
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, that a Muslim man passed away. Two Christian men came to Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, and testified regarding his will. However, the heirs of the deceased were doubtful. They apprehended both the Christians and brought them to Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him. After the Asr prayer, he made them swear an oath that they would neither take any bribe in this matter nor would they conceal the testimony of Allah Almighty. “That if they did so, they would certainly be among the sinners.” (Al-Ma'idah: 106) Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Then Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Indeed, this story (is true)." ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, and Imam Muslim, may Allah have mercy on him, but the two Shaykhs, may Allah have mercy on them both, did not narrate it. **
" حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ اشعری سے روایت ہے کہ ایک مسلمان آدمی کا انتقال ہو گیا اور دو عیسائی آدمیوں نے حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آ کر اس کے بارے میں وصیت کی گواہی دی لیکن اہل وصیت کو اس میں شک تھا تو وہ ان دونوں کو پکڑ کر حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس لے آئے ۔ آپ نے عصر کی نماز کے بعد ان سے قسم لی ، کہ نہ تو وہ اس سلسلہ میں رشوت لیں گے اور نہ ہی اللہ تعالیٰ کی گواہی کو چھپائیں گے ۔ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الْاٰثِمِیْنَ ( المائدہ : 106 ) ’’ ایسا کریں تو ہم ضرور گنہگاروں میں ہیں ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) حضرت عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں : پھر حضرت ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : بے شک یہ قصہ ( سچا ) ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abumusa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Ashari se riwayat hai ki ek Musalman aadmi ka inteqal ho gaya aur do Isai aadmiyon ne Hazrat Abumusa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas aa kar uske bare mein wasiyat ki gawahi di lekin ahle wasiyat ko is mein shak tha to woh un donon ko pakad kar Hazrat Abumusa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas le aaye. Aap ne Asr ki namaz ke baad unse qasam li, ki na to woh is silsila mein rishwat lenge aur na hi Allah Ta'ala ki gawahi ko chupaenge. Iza lam minal athimeen (Al-Maida: 106) Aisa karen to hum zaroor gunahgaron mein hain. (Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullahi Alaih) Hazrat Aamir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain: phir Hazrat Abumusa Ashari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya: be shak yeh qissa (sachcha) hai. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullahi Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullahi Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullahi Alaihima ne ise naql nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا الْفَسَوِيُّ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ لَفْظًا، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا أَبِي يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ "" شَهِدَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلَانِ نَصْرَانِيَّانِ عَلَى وَصِيَّةِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ مَاتَ عِنْدَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَارْتَابَ أَهْلُ الْوَصِيَّةِ، فَأَتَوْا بِهِمَا أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ فَاسْتَحْلَفَهُمَا بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ بِاللَّهِ مَا اشْتَرِيَا بِهِ ثَمَنًا، وَلَا كَتَمَا شَهَادَةَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الْآثِمِينَ "" قَالَ عَامِرٌ: ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ: وَاللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَقِصَّةٌ. . . . «صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3224 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
