Mustadrak Al Hakim 3225
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) narrated: The Quraysh said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Ask your Lord to make this Mount Safa (mountain) gold for us (and if that happens) then we shall believe in you.” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “(Will you really) believe?” They said, “Yes.” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) invoked Allah, the Almighty. Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Your Lord greets you with peace and says: If you (O Muhammad) wish, I will make this Mount Safa gold for them, (but keep in mind) then if anyone disbelieves after that, I will punish him with a torment the like of which has never been seen before in this universe. And if You wish, I will open for them the gates of repentance and mercy." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My Lord, (open for them) the gates of repentance and mercy.” ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : قریش نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے فرمائش کی کہ آپ اپنے رب سے یہ دعا مانگیں کہ وہ صفا پہاڑ کو سونا بنا دے ( اگر ایسا ہو جائے تو ) ہم آپ پر ایمان لے آئیں گے ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ( کیا واقعی تم ) ایمان لے آؤ گے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : جی ہاں ۔ آپ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی بارگاہ میں دعا مانگی ۔ حضرت جبریل امین علیہ السلام آپ کے پاس تشریف لائے اور کہنے لگے : آپ کا رب آپ کو سلام کہتا ہے اور فرماتا ہے : اگر آپ ﷺ چاہیں تو میں ان کے لیے صفا پہاڑ سونا بنا دیتا ہوں ( لیکن ایک بات یاد رکھیں کہ اگر اس کے بعد ) پھر کسی نے کفر کیا تو میں ان کو ایسا عذاب دوں گا کہ اس کائنات میں کسی کو ایسا عذاب نہیں دیا ہو گا اور اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں ان کے لیے توبہ اور رحمت کے دروازے کھول دیتا ہوں ۔ آپ ﷺ نے عرض کی : اے میرے رب ! رحمت اور توبہ کے دروازے ( کھول دے ) ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Quresh ne Nabi Akram SAW se farmaish ki keh aap apne Rab se yeh dua maangein keh woh Safa pahar ko sona bana de ( agar aisa ho jaye to ) hum aap per iman le aayein ge . Aap SAW ne farmaya : ( kya waqai tum ) iman le aao ge ? Unhon ne kaha : ji haan . Aap ne Allah Ta'ala ki bargah mein dua maangi . Hazrat Jibril amin alaihissalam aap ke paas tashreef laaye aur kehne lage : Aap ka Rab aap ko salaam kehta hai aur farmata hai : Agar aap SAW chahein to main un ke liye Safa pahar sona bana deta hun ( lekin ek baat yaad rakhein keh agar is ke baad ) phir kisi ne kufr kiya to main un ko aisa azab dun ga keh is kainaat mein kisi ko aisa azab nahin diya ho ga aur agar aap chahein to main un ke liye tauba aur rehmat ke darwaze khol deta hun . Aap SAW ne arz ki : Aye mere Rab ! Rehmat aur tauba ke darwaze ( khol de ) . ** yeh hadees Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne ise naql nahin kiya .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَتْ قُرَيْشٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ادْعُ اللَّهَ رَبَّكَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ لَنَا الصَّفَا ذَهَبًا، وَنُؤْمِنَ بِكَ. قَالَ: «أَوَ تَفْعَلُونَ؟» قَالُوا: نَعَمْ فَدَعَا اللَّهَ فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ، وَيَقُولُ: إِنْ شِئْتَ أَصْبَحَ لَهُمُ الصَّفَا ذَهَبًا، فَمَنْ كَفَرَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَّبْتُهُ عَذَابًا لَا أُعَذِّبُهُ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَتَحْتُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابَ التَّوْبَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ؟ قَالَ: «يَا رَبِّ بَابَ التَّوْبَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3225 - صحيح
