Mustadrak Al Hakim 3617
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When Abu Talib fell ill, the Quraysh came to visit him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also arrived. At that time, there was a seat vacant near Abu Talib's head. Abu Jahl went forward to prevent the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from sitting there, and all those people complained to Abu Talib about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abu Talib said: "O my nephew! What do you want from your people?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "O uncle! I only want them to testify to a single statement (Kalima) by virtue of which all the Arabs will come under their sway, and due to which even the non-Arabs (Persians) will pay them Jizyah." Abu Talib said: "Is it only one statement?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, only one statement." Abu Talib asked: "What is that statement?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "La ilaha illallah (There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah)." The people said: "What! Should we worship only one God instead of all these deities? This is something very strange!" The narrator said: It was concerning them that this Surah (Surah Sad) was revealed: "Sad. By the Quran, full of reminding." (38:1) These verses were revealed up to "This is nothing but a discord." (38:26) ** This Hadith is Hasan (good) in its chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : ابوطالب بیمار ہو گئے تو قریش ان کے پاس آئے اور نبی اکرم ﷺ بھی تشریف لے آئے ۔ اس وقت ابوطالب کے سرہانے کی جانب ایک نشست خالی پڑی تھی ۔ ابوجہل آگے بڑھا تاکہ حضور ﷺ کو وہاں بیٹھنے سے روک سکے اور ان سب لوگوں نے حضور ﷺ کی ابوطالب سے شکایت کی ۔ ابوطالب نے کہا : اے میرے بھتیجے ! تم اپنی قوم سے کیا چاہتے ہو ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : اے چچا ! میں ان کو ایک ایسے کلمہ کا اقرار کروانا چاہتا ہوں جس کی بناء پر تمام عرب ان کے زیرنگیں ہو جائے گا اور اس کی وجہ سے اہل عجم بھی ان کو جزیہ ادا کریں گے ۔ ابوطالب نے کہا : صرف ایک کلمہ ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ہاں صرف ایک کلمہ ہے ۔ ابوطالب نے پوچھا : وہ کون سا کلمہ ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ تو لوگ بولے : کیا سب معبودوں کی بجائے اب ایک معبود کی عبادت کریں ؟ یہ تو بڑی تعجب خیز بات ہے ۔ ( راوی ) کہتے ہیں ۔ انہیں کے متعلق یہ سورۃ نازل ہوئی : صٓ وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ ذِی الذِّکْرِ ( ص : 1 ) یہ آیات ’’ اِنْ ھٰذَا اِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ ‘‘ تک نازل ہوئیں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma farmate hain : Abu Talib bimar ho gaye to Quresh un ke pass aaye aur Nabi Akram Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam bhi tashreef le aaye . Iss waqt Abu Talib ke sarhane ki jaanib ek nashisht khali padi thi . Abu Jahl aage badha takay Huzoor Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko wahan baithne se rok sake aur un sab logon ne Huzoor Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki Abu Talib se shikayat ki . Abu Talib ne kaha : Aye merey bhatijay ! Tum apni qaum se kya chahte ho ? Aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya : Aye chacha ! Main in ko ek aisey kalma ka iqrar karwana chahta hon jiss ki bunyad par tamam Arab in ke zair-e-nagin ho jaye ga aur iss ki wajah se Ahle Ajam bhi in ko jizya ada karein gey . Abu Talib ne kaha : Sirf ek kalma hai ? Aap ne farmaya : Haan sirf ek kalma hai . Abu Talib ne poocha : Woh kaun sa kalma hai ? Aap ne farmaya : La Ilaha Illallah to log bole : Kya sab maboodon ki bajaye ab ek mabood ki ibadat karein ? Yeh to badi ta'ajjub khez baat hai . ( Rawi ) kehte hain . Inhi ke mutalliq yeh Surah nazil hui : Sad . Wal Quraniz Zikr . ( Surah : 1 ) Yeh ayat '’ In haza illa khtilaqun '' tak nazil huin . ** Yeh hadees Sahih-ul-Asnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne isey naqal nahi kya .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي دَارِمٍ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: مَرِضَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ فَجَاءَتْ قُرَيْشٌ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَ رَأْسِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مَجْلِسُ رَجُلٍ فَقَامَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ كَيْ يَمْنَعَهُ ذَاكَ وَشَكَوْهُ إِلَى أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي مَا تُرِيدُ مِنْ قَوْمِكَ؟ قَالَ: «يَا عَمُّ، إِنَّمَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ كَلِمَةً تَذِلُّ لَهُمْ بِهَا الْعَرَبُ وَتُؤَدَّى إِلَيْهِمْ بِهَا جِزْيَةُ الْعَجَمِ» قَالَ: كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ؟ قَالَ: «كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ» قَالَ: مَا هِيَ؟ قَالَ: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ» قَالَ: فَقَالُوا: أَجَعَلُوا الْآلِهَةَ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا إِنْ هَذَا لِشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ؟ قَالَ: وَنَزَلَ فِيهِمْ {ص وَالْقُرْآنِ ذِي الذِّكْرِ} [ص: 1] حَتَّى بَلَغَ {إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ} [ص: 7] «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3617 - صحيح
