Mustadrak Al Hakim 366
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: If Allah had not taken a covenant from the People of the Book, I would not tell you anything. Then, Abu Huraira recited the verse: "And [recall] when Allah took the covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [He said], "You shall make it clear to the people, and you shall not conceal it..." (Al Imran 187).
" حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا بیان ہے : اگر اللہ تعالیٰ نے اہل کتاب سے عہد نہ لیا ہوتا تو میں تمہیں کچھ نہ بتاتا ، پھر اس کے بعد حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ آیت پڑھی وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ ( آل عمران 187 ) ۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka bayan hai: Agar Allah Ta'ala ne Ahl-e-Kitab se ahd na liya hota to main tumhen kuch na batata, phir uske baad Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ye ayat padhi: Wa Iza Akhaza Allahu Meethaqal Lazeena Ootul Kitaba Latubayyinunnahu Lin Nasi Wa La Taktumoonahu (Al-Imran 187).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: "" لَوْلَا مَا أَخَذَ اللَّهُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ، ثُمَّ تَلَا {وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ} [آل عمران: 187] «.» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَا أَعْلَمُ لَهُ عِلَّةً وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 366 - لا أعلم له علة
