Mustadrak Al Hakim 4074
Barir Bahli (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the destruction of the people of Prophet Shu'aib (peace be upon him) and the explanation of Allah Almighty's statement: "So the torment of the day of shade seized them. Verily, it was the torment of a mighty day." (Ash-Shu'ara: 189) So you ( Abdullah bin Abbas) said: Allah Almighty sent intense heat upon them, which caused their breath to choke. These people went inside their rooms, but the heat reached there as well and stopped their breath. Then they ran out of their houses towards the fields, so Allah Almighty sent a cloud that shaded them. These people felt cool and comfort in its shade, so they called each other to gather there. When all of them gathered under this cloud, Allah Almighty rained fire upon them. Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This was the torment of the day of shade. "Verily, it was the torment of a mighty day."
" حضرت بریر باہلی رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے حضرت شعیب علیہ السلام کی قوم کی ہلاکت اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس ارشاد کی وضاحت پوچھی : فَاَخَذَھُمْ عَذَابُ یَوْمِ الظُّلَّۃِ اِنَّہٗ کَانَ عَذَابٌ عَظِیْم ( الشعراء : 189 ) ’’ تو انہیں شامیانے والے دن کے عذاب نے آ لیا ، بیشک وہ بڑے دن کا عذاب تھا ۔‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) تو آپ نے فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر سخت گرمی بھیجی ، جس سے ان کا دم گھٹنے لگا ۔ یہ لوگ اپنے کمروں کے اندر گھس گئے لیکن اس گرمی نے وہاں پہنچ کر بھی ان کی سانس بند کر دی پھر یہ گھروں سے باہر میدانوں کی طرف بھاگ نکلے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک بادل بھیجا جس نے ان پر چھاؤں کر دی ، ان لوگوں نے اس کے سائے میں ٹھنڈک اور سکون محسوس کیا تو انہوں نے خود ایک دوسرے کو آوازیں دے دے کر وہاں اکٹھے کر لیا ، جب وہ تمام لوگ اس بادل کے نیچے جمع ہو گئے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر آگ برسا دی ۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : یہ تھا شامیانے کے دن کا عذاب ’’ بے شک وہ بڑے دن کا عذاب تھا ۔‘‘"
Hazrat Barira Bahli Raziallahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke mainne Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se Hazrat Shuaib Alaihissalam ki qaum ki halakat aur Allah Ta'ala ke is irshad ki wazahat poochhi: Fa akhazahum azabu yaumiz zullati innahu kaana azabun azeem (Ash Shu'ara: 189) ''To unhen shamiyane wale din ke azab ne aa liya, beshak woh bare din ka azab tha.'' (Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih) To aap ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala ne un par sakht garmi bheji, jis se un ka dum ghutne laga. Ye log apne kamron ke andar ghus gaye lekin is garmi ne wahan pahunch kar bhi un ki saans band kar di phir ye gharon se bahar maidano ki taraf bhaag nikle to Allah Ta'ala ne ek badal bheja jis ne un par chaon kar di, in logon ne is ke saaye mein thandak aur sukoon mehsoos kiya to inhon ne khud ek doosre ko aawazen de de kar wahan ikathe kar liya, jab woh tamam log is badal ke neeche jama ho gaye to Allah Ta'ala ne un par aag barsa di. Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma farmate hain: Ye tha shamiyane ke din ka azab ''beshak woh bare din ka azab tha.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَخُو حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي بَرِيرٌ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسِ، عَنْ هَلَاكٍ قَوْمِ شُعَيْبٍ وَقَوْلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَرًّا شَدِيدًا فَأَخَذَ بِأَنْفَاسِهِمْ فَدَخَلُوا أَجْوَافَ الْبُيُوتِ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْوَافَ الْبُيُوتِ فَأَخَذَ بِأَنْفَاسِهِمْ، فَخَرَجُوا مِنَ الْبُيُوتِ هِرَابًا إِلَى الْبَرِيَّةِ، فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ سَحَابَةً فَأَظَلَّتْهُمْ مِنَ الشَّمْسِ فَوَجَدُوا لَهَا بَرْدًا وَلَذَّةً فَنَادَى بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا حَتَّى إِذَا اجْتَمَعُوا تَحْتَهَا أَرْسَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَارًا» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «فَذَاكَ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4074 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
