Mention of Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon) (peace be upon him) and Allah's granted kingdom to him
ذكر الله سليمان عليه السلام ومنحه الله تعالى الملك
Mustadrak Al Hakim 4139
Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates that, " Sulaiman (Solomon), son of Dawood (David), peace be upon them, was granted dominion over the east and west of the earth. So, Sulaiman, son of Dawood, peace be upon them both, ruled over the jinn, humans, devils, animals, birds, and beasts for seven hundred years and six months. He was bestowed with the knowledge of everything and was taught the languages of all beings. During his time, many strange and wondrous inventions came to be, the likes of which humanity had never even heard of, and all things were under his command. He continued to govern with the command of Allah Almighty, His light, and wisdom until, when Allah Almighty intended to seize his soul, He revealed to him to entrust his knowledge and wisdom to his brother, the son of Dawood (David), peace be upon him. And so, among them were 480 individuals who did not receive prophethood."
حضرت جعفر بن محمد کا بیان ہے کہ ’’ حضرت سلیمان بن داؤد علیہ السلام کو زمین کے مشارق اور مغارب کی حکومت دی گئی تھی ۔ چنانچہ سلیمان بن داؤد علیہما السلام نے جنات ، انسان ، شیاطین ، جانوروں ، پرندوں اور درندوں تمام دنیا پر سات سو سال اور چھ مہینے حکومت کی ۔ آپ کو ہر چیز کا علم دیا گیا تھا اور ہر چیز کی بولی سکھائی گئی تھی ۔ آپ کے زمانے میں بڑی عجیب و غریب ایجادات ہوئیں ، جن کے متعلق انسان نے کبھی سنا تک نہ تھا اور تمام چیزیں آپ کے زیرنگین تھیں ۔ آپ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم اور اس کے نور اور حکمت کے ساتھ حکومت کی تدبیر فرماتے رہے حتیٰ کہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی روح قبض کرنے کا ارادہ کیا تو ان کی طرف وحی فرمائی کہ وہ اپنا علم و حکمت اپنے بھائی اور داؤد علیہ السلام کے بیٹے کے سپرد کر دیں ۔ چنانچہ ان میں 480 افراد ایسے ہیں جن کو رسالت نہیں ملی ۔
Hazrat Jaffar bin Muhammad ka bayan hai keh '' Hazrat Sulaiman bin Dawood Alaihissalam ko zameen ke mashariq aur magharib ki hukumat di gayi thi. Chunancha Sulaiman bin Dawood Alaihimussalam ne jinnat, insaan, shayateen, janwaron, parindon aur darindon tamam duniya par saat sau saal aur chhe mahine hukumat ki. Aap ko har cheez ka ilm diya gaya tha aur har cheez ki boli sikhayi gayi thi. Aap ke zamane mein badi ajeeb o gareeb ijadaat huin, jin ke mutalliq insaan ne kabhi suna tak nah tha aur tamam cheezen aap ke zerongeen thin. Aap Allah Ta'ala ke hukm aur uske noor aur hikmat ke saath hukumat ki tadbeer farmate rahe hatya keh jab Allah Ta'ala ne unki rooh qabz karne ka irada kiya to unki taraf wahi farmaayi keh woh apna ilm o hikmat apne bhai aur Dawood Alaihissalam ke bete ke supurd kar dein. Chunancha un mein 480 afraad aise hain jin ko risalat nahin mili.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «أُعْطِيَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ مُلْكَ مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا فَمَلَكَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ سَبْعمِائَةَ سَنَةٍ وَسِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ مَلَكَ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا كُلَّهُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وَالشَّيَاطِينِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالطَّيْرِ وَالسِّبَاعِ، وَأُعْطِي عِلْمَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَمَنْطِقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَفِي زَمَانِهِ صُنِعَتِ الصَّنَائِعُ الْمُعْجِبَةُ الَّتِي مَا سَمِعَ بِهَا النَّاسُ، وَسُخِّرَتْ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ مُدَبِّرًا بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَنُورِهِ وَحِكْمَتِهِ، حَتَّى إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقْبِضَهُ أَوْحَى إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اسْتَوْدِعْ عِلْمَ اللَّهِ وَحِكْمَتَهُ أَخَاهُ وَوَلَدَ دَاوُدَ وَكَانُوا أَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ وَثَمَانِينَ رَجُلًا بِلَا رِسَالَةٍ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4139 - هذا باطل
