Mustadrak Al Hakim 4552
Marwan bin Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioning turmoil, and he said: "Turmoil is near." In the meantime, a man passed by who was wrapped in a cloak. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This man will be upon guidance." So I got up and went to that man, and it was Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). I turned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked: "Is this the man?" He said: "Yes." ** This hadith is authentic (sahih) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it. **
" حضرت مرہ بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فتنوں کا تذکرہ کرتے سنا ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے بیان کیا کہ فتنے بہت قریب ہیں ۔ اسی اثناء میں وہاں سے ایک آدمی گزرا جو چادر میں لپٹا ہوا تھا ، آپ نے فرمایا : یہ شخص اس ہدایت پر ہو گا ۔ تو میں اٹھ کر اس آدمی کے پاس گیا تو وہ حضرت عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ تھے ۔ میں نے آپ کی جانب متوجہ ہو کر پوچھا : یہی ہے وہ شخص ؟ انہوں نے کہا : جی ہاں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Murrah bin Kaab Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain : maine Rasool Allah SAW ko fitnon ka tazkira karte suna hai, aap SAW ne bayan kiya ke fitne bahut qareeb hain. Isi asna mein wahan se ek aadmi guzra jo chadar mein lipta hua tha, aap ne farmaya : yeh shakhs is hidayat par ho ga. To mein uth kar is aadmi ke paas gaya to woh Hazrat Usman bin Affan Raziallahu Anhu the. Maine aap ki janib mutwaja ho kar poocha : yahi hai woh shakhs? Unhon ne kaha : ji haan. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaihema ne is ko naqal nahi kiya.
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ثنا وُهَيْبٌ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ فِتْنَةً فَقَرَّ بِهَا، فَمَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ مُقَنَّعٌ فِي ثَوْبٍ، فَقَالَ: «هَذَا يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى الْهُدَى» فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَأَقْبَلْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ، فَقُلْتُ: هُوَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4552 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
