Mustadrak Al Hakim 4597
Tariq bin Shahab narrates: I saw Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in a worn-out cotton saddle, and he was saying to Hasan and Hussain (may Allah be pleased with them both): What is the matter with you? Why are you crying like girls? By Allah, I have thought a lot about this matter. I have only two options: (1) Fight this nation (in war). (2) Deny (the religion) revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him). The stance of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
" حضرت طارق بن شہاب فرماتے ہیں : میں نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو روئی کے بوسیدہ گالوں کے پالان میں دیکھا وہ حضرت حسن اور حسین رضی اللہ عنہما سے فرما رہے تھے : تمہیں کیا ہے ؟ تم لڑکیوں کی طرح کیوں رو رہے ہو ؟ خدا کی قسم میں نے اس معاملہ میں بہت غور و فکر کیا ہے ۔ میرے سامنے دو ہی راستے ہیں ۔ ( 1 ) اس قوم سے جہاد کروں ۔ ( 2 ) محمد ﷺ پر نازل شدہ ( دین ) کا انکار کر دوں ۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کا موقف"
Hazrat Tariq bin Shahab farmate hain : main ne Hazrat Ali radi Allaho anho ko roi ke boseeda galon ke palan mein dekha woh Hazrat Hassan aur Hussain radi Allaho anhuma se farma rahe the : tumhein kya hai ? tum larkion ki tarah kyun ro rahe ho ? Khuda ki qasam main ne is mamle mein bahut ghor o fikr kiya hai . Mere samne do hi raste hain . ( 1 ) is qaum se jihad karoon . ( 2 ) Muhammad par nazil shuda ( deen ) ka inkar kar doon . حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، بِالْكُوفَةِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الصَّيْرَفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيصَةَ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَلَى رَحْلٍ رَثٍّ بِالرَّبَذَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لِلْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ: «مَا لَكُمَا تَحِنَّانِ حَنِينَ الْجَارِيَةِ، وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ ضَرَبْتُ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ ظَهْرًا لِبَطْنٍ، فَمَا وَجَدْتُ بُدًّا مِنْ قِتَالِ الْقَوْمِ، أَوِ الْكُفْرِ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4597 - حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص لضعفه
