Mustadrak Al Hakim 4621
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when his blessed shoe broke. So Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) started to mend it, and because of this he fell behind a little. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walked on a bit, then said: "There is one among you who will fight over the interpretation of the Quran just as I fought over its revelation." So the people started to raise their heads (looking at each other). Among them was Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). He asked: "Is that person me?" He (the Prophet) said: "No." Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Is it me?" He (the Prophet) said: "No. Rather it is the one who is mending the shoes (meaning Ali)." We told this good news to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), but he did not raise his head at this, or it seemed as if he had already heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). **This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it.**
" حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے آپ ﷺ کا جوتا مبارک ٹوٹ گیا ۔ تو حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو اس کو پیوند لگانے لگے ، اس لئے وہ ذرا پیچھے رہ گئے ۔ آپ ﷺ تھوڑا چلے ، پھر فرمایا : تم میں سے ایک شخص ایسا ہے جو قرآن کی تاویل پر اس طرح لڑے گا جیسے میں نے اس کے نزول پر قتال کیا تھا ۔ تو لوگ اپنے اپنے سر اونچے کرنے لگے ۔ ان میں حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے ۔ انہوں نے پوچھا : کیا وہ آدمی میں ہوں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : نہیں ۔ پھر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا : وہ میں ہوں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : نہیں ۔ بلکہ وہ جوتوں کو پیوند لگانے والا ہے ( یعنی علی ہے ) ہم نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ خوشخبری سنائی لیکن انہوں نے اس بات پر سر نہ اٹھایا یا یوں لگتا تھا جیسے وہ یہ بات پہلے ہی رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سن چکے ہوں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : hum Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah the aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka joota mubarak toot gaya . To Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko usko paivand lagane lage , isliye wo zara peeche reh gaye . Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) thoda chale , phir farmaya : tum mein se ek shakhs aisa hai jo Quran ki taweel par is tarah lare ga jaise main ne uske nuzool par qitaal kiya tha . To log apne apne sar unche karne lage . Un mein Hazrat Abubakar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bhi the . Unhon ne poocha : kya wo aadmi main hun ? Aap ne farmaya : nahi . Phir Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne poocha : wo main hun ? Aap ne farmaya : nahi . Balke wo jooton ko paivand lagane wala hai ( yani Ali hai ) hum ne Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko ye khushkhabri sunaai lekin unhon ne is baat par sar na uthaya ya yun lagta tha jaise wo ye baat pehle hi Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se sun chuke hon . ** ye hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaihima ne isko naqal nahi kiya .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، بِالْكُوفَةِ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: ابْنُ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَانْقَطَعَتْ نَعْلُهُ فَتَخَلَّفَ عَلِيٌّ يَخْصِفُهَا فَمَشَى قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى تَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَا قَاتَلْتُ عَلَى تَنْزِيلِهِ» فَاسْتَشْرَفَ لَهَا الْقَوْمُ، وَفِيهِمْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا هُوَ، قَالَ: «لَا» قَالَ عُمَرُ: أَنَا هُوَ، قَالَ: «لَا، وَلَكِنْ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ» - يَعْنِي عَلِيًّا - فَأَتَيْنَاهُ فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ، فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ بِهِ رَأْسَهُ كَأَنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4621 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
