Mention of the avoidance of combat by Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him)

The same hadith has also been narrated by Ajlah (may Allah be pleased with him), however, these words are additional in it: “Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘The decision that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) has made, is also the best decision in my opinion.’” ** This hadith is sahih al-isnad (authentic in narration), but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) have not narrated it. However, according to the narration of Ibn Uyainah, the emphasis in this hadith is greater. And Abu Ishaq Sabai'i followed Ajlah in narrating this hadith.
" یہی حدیث حضرت اجلح رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی بیان کی ہے تاہم اس میں یہ الفاظ اضافی ہیں ’’ پھر نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا : علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے جو فیصلہ کیا میرے نزدیک بھی یہی فیصلہ سب سے بہتر ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ہے ۔ جبکہ ابن عیینہ کی روایت کے مطابق اس حدیث میں تاکید زیادہ ہے ۔ اور اس حدیث کو روایت کرنے میں ابواسحاق سبیعی نے اجلح کی متابعت کی ہے ۔"
Yahi Hadees Hazrat Ajlah Razi Allah Anhu ne bhi bayan ki hai taham is mein ye alfaz izafi hain '' phir Nabi Akram ﷺ ne farmaya : Ali Razi Allah Anhu ne jo faisla kiya mere nazdeek bhi yahi faisla sab se behtar hai . ** Ye Hadees Sahih ul Asnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne is ko naqal nahin kiya hai . Jabke Ibn e Ayaina ki riwayat ke mutabiq is Hadees mein takid zyada hai . Aur is Hadees ko riwayat karne mein Abusaq Sabi'i ne Ajlah ki mutaba'at ki hai .
حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا الْأَجْلَحُ، بِهَذَا وَزَادَ فِيهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَعْلَمُ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا قَالَ عَلِيٌّ» . «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» . وَقَدْ زَادَ الْحَدِيثُ تَأْكِيدًا بِرِوَايَةِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَقَدْ تَابَعَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ السَّبِيعِيُّ الْأَجْلَحَ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4659 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
