بیان معرفة الصحابة الكرام رضوان الله علیهم
The virtues of Hazrat Ja'far ibn Abi Talib ibn Abdul Muttalib ibn Hashim. They were martyred in the Battle of Muta in the eighth year of Hijrah.
حضرة جعفر بن أبي طالب بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم، رضي الله عنه، أفضله. استشهد في جناح الموتة في السنة الثامنة للهجرة.

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4943
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Last night, Ja'far passed by me with the angels. Both his wings were stained with the red color of blood, and his heart was white. ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it.
" حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : گزشتہ رات حضرت جعفر فرشتوں کے ہمراہ میرے پاس سے گزرے ان کے دونوں پروں خون کے سرخ رنگ سے رنگے ہوئے تھے اور دل سفید تھا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Guzishta raat Hazrat Ja'far farishton ke humrah mere pass se guzre un ke donon pankh khoon ke surkh rang se range hue the aur dil safaid tha. ** Ye hadees Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rehmatullah Alaihema ne isko naqal nahin kya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَرَّ بِي جَعْفَرٌ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي مَلَأٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، وَهُوَ مُخَضَّبُ الْجَنَاحَيْنِ بِالدَّمِ أَبْيَضُ الْفُؤَادِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4943 - على شرط مسلم
