The virtues of Hazrat Abu Hudhaifah. They are Hashim bin Atba bin Rabia bin Abdul Shams bin Abdul Manaf Allah's friends and enemies are their sons. In the 53rd or 54th year of the Hijri year, the battle of Imamah was martyred.
حضرة أبو حذيفة، رضي الله عنه، أفضله. هذه هشيم بن عتبة بن ربيعة بن عبد شمس بن عبد مناف، أصدقاء له وأعداء الله ورسوله، استشهد في السنة الثانية عشرة للهجرة في سن 53 أو 54 عاماً، في معركة يمامة.

Mustadrak Al Hakim 4995
The Mother of the Believers, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered that (the corpses of the disbelievers) be thrown into Qalib (a well). According to his order, they were thrown into the well. Then, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood over the well and said, “O people of the well! Have you found true the promise of your Lord? Verily, I have found true what my Lord promised me.” Sahabah Kiram (may Allah be pleased with them) said, “O Messenger of Allah, are you talking to the dead?” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Indeed, they have come to know that what their Lord promised was true.” Then, when they were being dragged and thrown into the well upon the order of the Prophet (peace be upon him), when the father of Abu Huzaifa bin Utbah (may Allah be pleased with him) was being thrown, there were clear signs of distress on his (Abu Huzaifa’s) face. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “O Abu Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him), by Allah! What happened to your father has distressed you.” Abu Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “O Messenger of Allah, by Allah! I have never had any doubt about Allah and His Messenger. But the fact is that my father was forbearing, righteous, and understanding. I wished that Allah would guide him to Islam. Then, when I saw that he had passed away, it grieved me immensely.” So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed for (Abu Huzaifa). **This Hadith is Sahih according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it.**
" ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ( کافروں کی لاشوں کو ) قلیب ( کنویں میں پھینکنے کا ) حکم دیا ۔ آپ کے حکم کے مطابق ان کو کنویں میں پھینک دیا گیا ، پھر حضور ﷺ نے اس کنویں پر کھڑے ہو کر ارشاد فرمایا : اے کنویں والو ! کیا تم نے اپنے رب کے وعدے کو سچا پایا ؟ بے شک میرے ساتھ میرے رب نے جو وعدہ کیا تھا میں نے اس کو سچ پایا ۔ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کی : یا رسول اللہ ﷺ آپ مرے ہوؤں سے گفتگو فرما رہے ہیں ؟ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : بے شک انہوں نے جان لیا ہے کہ جو ان کے رب نے وعدہ کیا تھا وہ برحق ہے ۔ پھر جب حضور ﷺ کے حکم کے مطابق ان کو گھسیٹ کر کنویں میں پھینکا جا رہا تھا تو جب حضرت ابوحذیفہ بن عتبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے باپ کو پھینکا جا رہا تھا تو ان کے چہرے پر پریشانی کے آثار بالکل نمایاں تھے ۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : اے ابوحذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ خدا کی قسم ! تیرے باپ کے ساتھ جو معاملہ ہوا ہے اس نے تجھے پریشان کیا ہے ۔ حضرت ابوحذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ بولے : یا رسول اللہ ﷺ خدا کی قسم ! میں نے کبھی بھی اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے بارے میں شک نہیں کیا بلکہ اصل بات یہ کہ میرا باپ بردبار ، سیدھا سادھا ، اور سمجھ بوجھ والا تھا ، میری یہ آرزو تھی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو اسلام کی ہدایت عطا فرما دیتا ۔ پھر جب میں نے دیکھا کہ وہ فوت ہو گیا ہے تو اس وجہ سے مجھے شدید غم لاحق ہوا ہے ۔ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان ( ابوحذیفہ ) کے لئے دعائے خیر فرمائی ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) farmati hain ki Rasulullah ﷺ ne (kafiron ki lashon ko) Qalib (kunwen mein phenkne ka) hukum diya. Aap ke hukum ke mutabiq un ko kunwen mein phenk diya gaya, phir Huzoor ﷺ ne us kunwen par kharay ho kar irshad farmaya: Aye kunwen walo! kya tum ne apne Rab ke waday ko sacha paya? Be shak mere saath mere Rab ne jo wada kiya tha main ne us ko sach paya. Sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz ki: Ya Rasulullah ﷺ aap muray huon se guftagu farma rahe hain? To Rasulullah ﷺ ne irshad farmaya: Be shak unhon ne jaan liya hai ki jo un ke Rab ne wada kiya tha woh barhaq hai. Phir jab Huzoor ﷺ ke hukum ke mutabiq un ko ghaseet kar kunwen mein phenka ja raha tha to jab Hazrat Abu Huzaifa bin Utbah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke baap ko phenka ja raha tha to un ke chehre par pareshani ke asar bilkul numaya thay. Rasulullah ﷺ ne farmaya: Aye Abu Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Khuda ki qasam! tere baap ke saath jo mamla hua hai us ne tujhe pareshan kiya hai. Hazrat Abu Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bole: Ya Rasulullah ﷺ Khuda ki qasam! main ne kabhi bhi Allah aur us ke Rasul ke baare mein shak nahin kiya balki asal baat yeh hai ki mera baap burdbar, seedha sadha, aur samajh boojh wala tha, meri yeh aarzoo thi ki Allah Ta'ala us ko Islam ki hidayat ata farma deta. Phir jab main ne dekha ki woh foot ho gaya hai to us wajah se mujhe shadeed gham lahiq hua hai. To Rasulullah ﷺ ne un (Abu Huzaifa) ke liye dua'e khair farmai. ** Yeh hadees Imam Muslim Rehmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rehmatullah Alaihema ne is ko naqal nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ رُومَانَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِالْقَلِيبِ فَطُرِحُوا فِيهِ، فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «يَا أَهْلَ الْقَلِيبِ، هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا؟ فَإِنِّي وَجَدْتُ مَا وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي حَقًّا» فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، تُكَلِّمُ أَقْوَامًا مَوْتَى؟ فَقَالَ: «لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ مَا وَعَدَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ حَقٌّ» ، فَلَمَّا أَمَرَ بِهِمْ فَسُحِبُوا عُرِفَ فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ الْكَرَاهِيَةُ وَأَبُوهُ يُسْحَبُ إِلَى الْقَلِيبِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ، وَاللَّهِ لَكَأَنَّهُ سَاءَكَ مَا كَانَ فِي أَبِيكَ» فَقَالَ: وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا شَكَكْتُ فِي اللَّهِ وَفِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، وَلَكِنْ إِنْ كَانَ حَلِيمًا سَدِيدًا ذَا رَأْيٍ، فَكُنْتُ أَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَمُوتَ حَتَّى يَهْدِيَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُ أَنْ قَدْ فَاتَ ذَلِكَ وَوَقَعَ حَيْثُ وَقَعَ أَحْزَنَنِي ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: فَدَعَا لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَيْرٍ «صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4995 - على شرط مسلم
