Mustadrak Al Hakim 6294
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, I said to an Ansari man, "O so-and-so, come, let us seek knowledge, for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) are still alive." He said, "O Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with you), I am astonished at you. You see that people are in need of your knowledge, and who among the people are the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I left that matter and started acquiring knowledge. I came to know that so-and-so had a Hadith which he had heard directly from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so I went and sat outside his door. The wind blew dust onto my face. When that man came out and saw me, he said, 'O cousin of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Why have you come? What do you need from us?' I said, 'I have come to know that you have a Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which you narrate. (I have come to hear that Hadith).' The man said, 'You could have sent me a message, I would have come to you myself.' I said, 'It is more befitting for me to come to you.' That man was still alive when people started gathering around me, and he would say, 'This young man is more understanding than me.'" ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Shaykhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : جب رسول اللہ ﷺ وصال فرما گئے تو میں نے ایک انصاری شخص سے کہا : اے فلاں شخص تم آؤ ، ہم علم طلب کر لیں کیونکہ ابھی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے اصحاب زندہ ہیں ۔ اس نے کہا : اے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما مجھے تو تم پر حیرانگی ہو رہی ہے ، تم دیکھتے ہو کہ لوگ علم میں تمہارے محتاج ہیں ، اور لوگوں میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے صحابہ میں سے کون ہیں ؟ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا : میں نے وہ سلسلہ چھوڑ دیا ہے اور علم حاصل کرنا شروع کر دیا ہے ۔ مجھے پتا چلا کہ فلاں شخص کے پاس ایک حدیث موجود ہے جو کہ اس نے خود رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنی ہے تو میں جا کر اس کے دروازے کے باہر بیٹھ گیا ، ہواؤں نے گرد و غبار اڑا اڑا کر میرے چہرے پر ڈال دیا تھا ، اس آدمی نے جب باہر نکل کر مجھے دیکھا تو وہ کہنے لگا : اے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے چچا زاد ! آپ کس لئے تشریف لائے ہیں ؟ آپ کو ہم سے کیا کام ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : مجھے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ تمہارے پاس رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ایک حدیث ہے جو تم بیان کرتے ہو ۔ ( میں وہ حدیث سننے کے لئے آیا ہوں ) اس آدمی نے کہا : آپ مجھے پیغام بھیج دیتے ، میں خود آپ کے پاس چلا آتا ، تو میں نے کہا : میرا زیادہ حق بنتا ہے کہ میں چل کر آپ کے پاس آؤں ، وہ آدمی ابھی زندہ تھا کہ لوگ میرے پاس جمع ہونے لگ گئے ، تو وہ آدمی کہا کرتا تھا : یہ نوجوان مجھ سے زیادہ سمجھدار ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Jab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) wisal farma gaye to maine ek Ansaari shakhs se kaha : Aye falan shakhs tum aao , hum ilm talab kar len kyunki abhi Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ashaab zinda hain . Usne kaha : Aye Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a mujhe to tum par hairangi ho rahi hai , tum dekhte ho ki log ilm mein tumhare mohtaj hain , aur logon mein Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sahaba mein se kaun hain ? Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya : Maine wo silsila chhor diya hai aur ilm hasil karna shuru kar diya hai . Mujhe pata chala ki falan shakhs ke paas ek hadees maujood hai jo ki usne khud Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hai to main ja kar uske darwaze ke bahar baith gaya , hawaon ne gard o ghubar urra urra kar mere chehre par daal diya tha , us aadmi ne jab bahar nikal kar mujhe dekha to wo kahne laga : Aye Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke chacha zad ! Aap kis liye tashreef laaye hain ? Aap ko hum se kya kaam hai ? Maine kaha : Mujhe maloom hua hai ki tumhare paas Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ek hadees hai jo tum bayan karte ho . ( main wo hadees sunne ke liye aaya hun ) Us aadmi ne kaha : Aap mujhe paigham bhej dete , main khud aap ke paas chala aata , to maine kaha : Mera zyada haq banta hai ki main chal kar aap ke paas aaoon , wo aadmi abhi zinda tha ki log mere paas jama hone lag gaye , to wo aadmi kahta tha : Ye naujawan mujh se zyada samajhdaar hai . ** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: لَمَّا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْتُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: «هَلُمَّ يَا فُلَانُ، فَلْنَطْلُبِ الْعِلْمَ، فَإِنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْيَاءٌ» ، قَالَ: عَجَبًا لَكَ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، تَرَى النَّاسَ يَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَفِي النَّاسِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ فِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ: "" فَتَرَكْتُ ذَاكَ وَأَقْبَلْتُ أَطْلُبُ، إِنْ كَانَ الْحَدِيثُ لَيَبْلُغُنِي عَنِ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَدْ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَآتِيهِ فَأَجْلِسُ بِبَابَهُ فَتَسْفِي الرِّيحُ عَلَى وَجْهِي فَيَخْرُجُ إِلَيَّ فَيَقُولُ: يَا ابْنَ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ؟ مَا حَاجَتُكَ؟ "" فَأَقُولُ: «حَدِيثٌ بَلَغَنِي تَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» فَيَقُولُ: «أَلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيَّ؟» فَأَقُولُ: «أَنَا أَحَقُّ أَنْ آتِيَكَ» ، قَالَ: فَبَقِيَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ حَتَّى أَنَّ النَّاسَ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَيَّ، فَقَالَ: «هَذَا الْفَتَى كَانَ أَعْقَلَ مِنِّي» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الْبُخَارِيِّ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6294 - على شرط البخاري
