Mustadrak Al Hakim 6295
Ikrama narrates: "During the time of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), some people apostatized. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had them burned in fire. When the news of this reached Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), he said: 'If I were in his place, I would have simply had them killed because I have heard the instruction of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that whoever changes his religion, kill him. I would avoid burning them because I have heard the instruction of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that no one should be punished with the punishment of Allah Almighty.' When this information reached Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he expressed his displeasure with Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father). ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) but the two Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عکرمہ فرماتے ہیں : حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے زمانے میں کچھ لوگ مرتد ہو گئے ، حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان کو آگ میں جلوا دیا ، اس بات کی خبر حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما تک پہنچی تو انہوں نے فرمایا : اگر ان کی جگہ میں ہوتا تو میں ان کو سادہ طریقے سے قتل کروا دیتا کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کا یہ ارشاد سن رکھا ہے کہ جس نے اپنا دین بدل لیا اس کو قتل کر دو ، میں ان کو جلانے سے گریز کرتا کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کا یہ ارشاد سن رکھا ہے کہ کسی کو اللہ تعالیٰ کے عذاب جیسا عذاب نہ دو ۔ اس بات کی اطلاع حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ تک پہنچی تو انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما پر ناراضگی کا اظہار فرمایا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Akrama farmate hain : Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke zamane mein kuch log murtad ho gaye, Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne un ko aag mein jalwa diya, is baat ki khabar Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a tak pahunchi to unhon ne farmaya : Agar un ki jaga mein hota to mein un ko sada tareeke se qatal karwa deta kyunki mein ne Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka ye irshad sun rakha hai ki jis ne apna deen badal liya us ko qatal kar do, mein un ko jalane se guraiz karta kyunki mein ne Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka ye irshad sun rakha hai ki kisi ko Allah Ta'ala ke azab jaisa azab na do. Is baat ki ittila Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) tak pahunchi to unhon ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a par narazgi ka izhaar farmaya. ** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Shekhan ne is ko naqal nahin kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَنَّ نَاسًا ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى عَهْدِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَأَحْرَقَهُمْ بِالنَّارِ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فَقَالَ: لَوْ كُنْتُ أَنَا كُنْتُ قَتَلْتُهُمْ لِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ بَدَّلَ دِينَهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ» ، وَلَمْ أَكُنْ أُحَرِّقُهُمْ، لِأَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تُعَذِّبُوا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ» ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ: وَيْحَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الْبُخَارِيِّ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6295 - على شرط البخاري
