Mustadrak Al Hakim 6297
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) used to call the senior companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he would call me along with them. One day or night, he called us and said, "As you know, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights. What do you say, on which odd night does it occur?" Some said, "On the 29th night," some said, "On the 27th night," some said, "On the 25th," and some said, "On the 23rd." Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me, "O Ibn Abbas! What about you? Why are you not saying anything?" I said, "If you wish, I will speak." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I have called you here to speak." Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will speak according to my opinion." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I want to hear your opinion." I said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, has mentioned seven many times. There are seven heavens, and seven earths. And Allah Almighty said: 'Indeed, We have split the earth in fissures, and We caused to grow within it grain, and grapes, and herbs, and olives, and date palms, and gardens dense with foliage, and fruits, and grasses.' In this verse, there are 'gardens dense with foliage,' and each 'dense with foliage' is a garden. And 'grasses' refers to everything that grows from the earth that humans do not eat." Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Are you people unable to speak like this child, who has not yet reached your shoulders?" Then he said, "I used to forbid you from speaking, but now I permit you to express your opinion whenever I call you with them." ** This hadith is Sahih al-Isnad, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it. **
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ کے کبار صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو بلایا کرتے تھے تو ان کے ساتھ مجھے بھی بلاتے تھے ۔ ایک دن یا رات کا واقعہ ہے کہ آپ نے ہمیں بلایا اور کہا : جیسا کہ تم جانتے ہو کہ لیلۃ القدر کے بارے میں رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے کہ اس کو آخری عشرہ میں تلاش کرو ، تم کیا کہتے ہو ، یہ کون سی طاق رات میں ہوتی ہے ؟ بعض نے کہا : 29 ویں رات کو ، بعض نے کہا : 27 ویں رات کو ، بعض نے 25 ویں ، اور بعض نے 23 ویں کو کہا ۔ حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھ سے فرمایا : اے ابن عباس ! تمہیں کیا ہے ؟ تم بات کیوں نہیں کر رہے ؟ میں نے کہا : اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں بات کرتا ہوں ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : میں نے تمہیں یہاں پر بات کرنے کے لئے ہی بلایا ہے ، حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا : میں اپنی رائے کے مطابق گفتگو کروں گا ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : میں آپ کی رائے ہی تو سننا چاہتا ہوں ۔ میں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے سات کا ذکر بہت زیادہ کیا ہے ، آسمان سات ہیں ، زمینیں سات ہیں ۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : إِنَّا شَقَقْنَا الْأَرْضَ شَقًّا فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّا وَعِنَبًا وَقَضْبًا وَزَيْتُونًا وَنَخْلًا وَحَدَائِقَ غُلْبًا وَفَاكِهَةً وَأَبًّا اس آیت میں حدائق ملتف ہیں ، اور ہر ملتف باغ ہے ۔ اور ’’ اب ‘‘ سے مراد زمین سے اگنے والی ہر وہ چیز جو انسان نہیں کھاتا ۔ حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا : کیا تم لوگ اس بچے جیسی گفتگو کرنے سے بھی عاجز ہو ، یہ بچہ جو ابھی تمہارے کندھوں کے برابر نہیں پہنچتا ۔ پھر فرمایا : میں تجھے گفتگو سے منع کیا کرتا تھا لیکن اب میں تمہیں اجازت دیتا ہوں کہ میں جب بھی تمہیں ان کے ساتھ بلاؤں تو تم اپنا اظہار خیال کیا کرو ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Ek din ya raat ka waqea hai ki aap ne hamen bulaya aur kaha : Jaisa ki tum jante ho ki Lailatul Qadr ke bare mein Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya hai ki is ko aakhri ashra mein talash karo , tum kya kahte ho , yeh kon si taaq raat mein hoti hai ? Baaz ne kaha : 29 ween raat ko , baaz ne kaha : 27 ween raat ko , baaz ne 25 ween , aur baaz ne 23 ween ko kaha . Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne mujh se farmaya : Aye Ibn Abbas ! tumhen kya hai ? Tum baat kyon nahin kar rahe ? mein ne kaha : Agar aap chahen to mein baat karta hun . Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya : mein ne tumhen yahan par baat karne ke liye hi bulaya hai , Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya : mein apni raaye ke mutabiq guftgu karunga . Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya : mein aap ki raaye hi to sun na chahta hun . mein ne kaha : mein ne Rasool Allah ﷺ ko yeh farmate hue suna hai ki Allah Tabaarak wa Ta'ala ne saat ka zikr bahut zyada kiya hai , Aasman saat hain , zameen saat hain . Aur Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya : " Inna shaqaqnal arda shaqqan faanbatna feeha habban wa'inaban waqadban wazaytoonan wanakhlan wahadaa'iqa gulban wafakihatan wa'abban" is ayat mein hada'iq multaf hain , aur har multaf bagh hai . Aur '' ab '' se murad zameen se ugne wali har woh cheez jo insan nahin khata . Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya : kya tum log is bache jaisi guftgu karne se bhi aajiz ho , yeh bacha jo abhi tumhare kandhon ke barabar nahin pahunchta . Phir farmaya : mein tujhe guftgu se mana kiya karta tha lekin ab mein tumhen ijazat deta hun ki mein jab bhi tumhen in ke sath bulaun to tum apna izhaar khayal kiya karo . ** yeh hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِذَا دَعَا الْأَشْيَاخَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَانِي مَعَهُمْ، فَدَعَانَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ أَوْ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ مَا قَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فَفِي أَيِّ الْوِتْرِ تَرَوْنَهَا؟ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: تَاسِعُهُ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: سَابِعُهُ وَخَامِسُهُ وَثَالِثُهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكَ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ لَا تَتَكَلَّمُ؟ قُلْتُ: إِنْ شِئْتَ تَكَلَّمْتُ، قَالَ: مَا دَعَوْتُكَ إِلَّا لِتَكَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: أَقُولُ بِرَأْيٍ، فَقَالَ: عَنْ رَأْيِكَ أَسْأَلُكَ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "" إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَكْثَرَ ذِكْرَ السَّبْعِ فَقَالَ: السَّمَاوَاتِ سَبْعَ، وَالْأَرْضُونَ سَبْعٌ ""، وَقَالَ: إِنَّا شَقَقْنَا الْأَرْضَ شَقًّا فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّا وَعِنَبًا وَقَضْبًا وَزَيْتُونًا وَنَخْلًا وَحَدَائِقَ غُلْبًا وَفَاكِهَةً وَأَبًّا، فَالْحَدَائِقُ مُلْتَفُّ وَكُلُّ مُلْتَفٍّ حَدِيقَةٌ، وَالْأَبُّ مَا أَنْبَتَتِ الْأَرْضُ مِمَّا لَا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ ""، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَعَجَزْتُمْ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ هَذَا الْغُلَامُ الَّذِي لَمْ تَسْتَوِ شُئُونُ رَأْسِهِ؟ ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكَ أَنْ تَكَلَّمَ، فَإِذَا دَعَوْتُكَ مَعَهُمْ فَتَكَلَّمْ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6297 - صحيح
