Mention of the Prophet ﷺ's daughter Hazrat Um Kulthum (RA)
ذكر صاحبة رسول الله ﷺ، حضرت رقية رضي الله عنها
Mustadrak Al Hakim 6858
Yahya bin Saeed narrates: After the demise of the Prophet's ﷺ daughter, Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with her), Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) married Umm Kulthum, the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ. ** This narration is authentic (Sahih) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them both), however, it was not narrated by both of the Sheikhs (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim).
" یحیی بن سعید فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ کی صاحبزادی حضرت رقیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے وصال کے بعد حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے ام کلثوم بنت رسول اللہ ﷺ سے نکاح کیا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Yahya bin Saeed farmate hain : Rasool Allah ﷺ ki sahibzadi Hazrat Ruqayyah razi Allah anha ke wisal ke baad Hazrat Usman razi Allah anhu ne Umm-e-Kulthum bint Rasool Allah ﷺ se nikah kiya . ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُسَاحِقِيُّ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: «مَاتَتْ رُقَيَّةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَتَزَوَّجَ عُثْمَانُ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6858 - حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص
