Amir bin Sa'd bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father Sa'd that a man came for prayer while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the prayer. He joined the row and supplicated, "O Allah, grant me a reward better than what You have granted to Your righteous servants." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, he asked, "Whose voice was that?" The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, it was me." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "(You will deserve that reward) when you will cut the vein of your fast horse and be martyred in the way of Allah."
"حضرت عامر بن سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سعد کا یہ بیان نقل کرتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نماز کے لیے آیا ، اس وقت نبی اکرم ﷺ نماز پڑھا رہے تھے ، اس نے صف میں شامل ہوتے ہوئے یہ دعا مانگی ’’ اے اللہ تو مجھے اس سے بھی بہتر اجر عطا فرما جو تو نے اپنے نیک بندوں کو عطا فرمایا ‘‘ جب نبی اکرم ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو پوچھا : ابھی کس کی آواز آ رہی تھی ؟ وہ شخص بولا ’’ یا رسول اللہ ﷺ میں ہوں ‘‘ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ( تو اس ثواب کا حقدار تب ہو گا ) جب تو اپنے تیز رفتار گھوڑے کی کونچ کو کاٹ ڈالے گا اور اللہ کی راہ میں شہید ہو جائے گا ۔
Hazrat Amir bin Saad bin Abi Waqas Radi Allaho Anho apne wald Saad ka yeh bayan naqal karte hain keh ek shakhs namaz ke liye aaya, us waqt Nabi Akram Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam namaz parha rahe the, usne saf mein shamil hote huye yeh dua maangi ''Aye Allah to mujhe is se bhi behtar ajr ata farma jo to ne apne nek bandon ko ata farmaya'' jab Nabi Akram Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam namaz se farigh huye to pucha: abhi kis ki aawaz aa rahi thi? Woh shakhs bola ''Ya Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam main hun'' Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: (to us sawab ka haqdar tab hoga) jab to apne tez raftar ghore ki konch ko kaat dale ga aur Allah ki rah mein shaheed ho jaye ga.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ الدَّبَّاسُ، بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا، فَقَالَ: حِينَ انْتَهَى إِلَى الصَّفِّ: اللَّهُمَّ آتِنِي أَفْضَلَ مَا تُؤْتِي عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ، قَالَ: «مَنِ الْمُتَكَلِّمُ آنِفًا؟» فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذًا يُعْقَرُ جَوَادُكَ، وَتُسْتَشْهَدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ» . «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 748 - على شرط مسلم
