Mustadrak Al Hakim 975
Hilal bin Yasaf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I went to a place where a friend of mine asked me, "Do you want to visit a companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" I said, "That would be a great honor." He took us to Wabsa bin Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him). I said to my friend, "Let's go ahead and visit him." When we saw him, we were surprised to see that he was wearing a small cap on his head, which was stuck to his head, and over it was a long cap made of wool, which was covered in dust. He was praying, leaning on his staff. When he finished praying, we asked him, "Why do you lean on something while praying?" He said, "Umm Qais bint Muhsin told me that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached old age and his blessed body became weak, he used to pray leaning against a pillar." **This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of both Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim. However, they did not narrate this hadith on the authority of Wabsa bin Ma'bad because the chain of narration to him is not sound.**
" حضرت ہلال بن یساف رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں میں رکھا ایک مقام میں گیا میرے ایک دوست نے مجھ سے کہا کیا تم کسی صحابی رسول کی زیارت کرنا چاہتے ہو میں نے کہا یہ تو غنیمت ہے وہ ہمیں حضرت وابصہ بن معبد رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس لے گیا میں نے اپنے دوست سے کہا چلو ہم پہلے چلتے ہیں اور ان کی زیارت کرتے ہیں جب ہماری نظر ان کی شخصیت پر پڑی تو ہم ہم یہ دیکھ کر حیران رہ گئے کہ وہ سر پر چھوٹی سی ٹوپی پہنے ہوئے تھے جو کہ ان کے سر کے ساتھ چپکی ہوئی تھی اور اس کے اوپر ریشم اور ان کی بنی ہوئی بڑی لمبی ٹوپی تھی جو کہ غبار آلود تھی اور وہ اپنے اثاثے ٹیک لگائے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے جب وہ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو ہم نے ان سے کہا آپ نماز میں ایک کیوں لگاتے ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا حضرت ام قیس بنت محصن نے مجھے یہ بات بتائی ہے کہ رسول اللہ جب عمر رسیدہ ہو گئے اور آپ کے جسم مبارک میں نقاہت آگئی تو حضور ایک ستون کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم دونوں کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے تاہم انہوں نے وابصہ بن معبد کی وجہ سے یہ حدیث نقل نہیں کی کیونکہ ان تک سند درست نہیں ہے ۔ "
Hazrat Hilal bin Yasaf RA farmate hain mein rakha aik maqam mein gaya mere aik dost ne mujh se kaha kya tum kisi sahabi rasool ki ziyarat karna chahte ho mein ne kaha yeh to ghanimat hai woh humain Hazrat Wabsa bin Maabad RA ke paas le gaya mein ne apne dost se kaha chalo hum pehle chalte hain aur in ki ziyarat karte hain jab hamari nazar in ki shakhsiyat par padi to hum hum yeh dekh kar hairan reh gaye ke woh sar par chhoti si topi pehne hue the jo ke in ke sar ke sath chipki hui thi aur is ke upar resham aur in ki bani hui badi lambi topi thi jo ke ghubar aalud thi aur woh apne asa se tek lagaye namaz padh rahe the jab woh namaz se farigh hue to hum ne in se kaha aap namaz mein asa kyun lagate hain unhon ne farmaya Hazrat Umm Qais bint Mohsin ne mujhe yeh baat batai hai ke Rasool Allah jab umr raseedah ho gaye aur aap ke jism mubarak mein niqahat aa gayi to Huzoor aik satoon ke sath tek laga kar namaz padha karte the. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari RA aur Imam Muslim dono ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai taham inhon ne Wabsa bin Maabad ki wajah se yeh hadees naqal nahin ki kyunki in tak sanad durust nahin hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الزُّهْرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنْبَأَ شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، قَالَ: قَدِمْتُ الرَّقَّةَ فَقَالَ لِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِي: هَلْ لَكَ فِي رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ غَنِيمَةٌ، فَدَفَعَنَا إِلَى وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قُلْتُ لِصَاحِبِي: نَبْدَأُ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى دَلِّهِ فَإِذَا عَلَيْهِ قَلَنْسُوَةُ لَاطِئَةٌ ذَاتُ أُذُنَيْنِ، وَبُرْنُسُ خَزًّ غُبُرٌ، وَإِذَا هُوَ مُعْتَمِدٌ عَلَى عَصًا فِي صَلَاتِهِ، فَقُلْنَا لَهُ بَعْدَ أَنْ سَلَّمْنَا، فَقَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتُ مِحْصَنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «لَمَّا أَسَنَّ، وَحَمَلَ اللَّحْمَ اتَّخَذَ عَمُودًا فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْهِ» . «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُمَا لَمْ يُخَرِّجَا لِوَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ لِفَسَادِ الطَّرِيقِ إِلَيْهِ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 975 - على شرطهما
