باب عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2056

Safwan bin Umayyah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the plague, abdominal illness, drowning and dying in childbirth are martyrdom.’ (One of the narrators) said, Abu 'Uthman narrated this to us several times, and on one occasion he attributed it to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).

براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں آیت کریمہ «يثبت اللہ الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة» ”اللہ ایمان والوں کو دنیا اور آخرت میں ٹھیک بات پر قائم رکھے گا“ ( ابراہیم: ۲۷ ) ۔ عذاب قبر کے سلسلے میں نازل ہوئی تھی۔

Baraa bin Aazib Radi Allahu anhuma kehte hain Aayat Kareema «Yasibtu Allahu alladhina amanu bil qoul al thabit fil hayaati al dunya wa fil aakhira» “Allah eman walon ko dunya aur akhirat mein theek baat par qaim rakhega” ( Ibrahim: 27 ) . Azaab qabr ke silsile mein nazil hui thi.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ ‏{‏ يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ ‏}‏ قَالَ نَزَلَتْ فِي عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057

Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, this is the one at whose death the Throne welcomed, the gates of heaven were opened for him and seventy thousand angles attended his funeral. It squeezed him once then released him.’

براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”آیت کریمہ «يثبت اللہ الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة‏» ”اللہ ایمان والوں کو دنیا اور آخرت ( دونوں میں ) ٹھیک بات پر قائم رکھے گا“۔ عذاب قبر کے سلسلے میں اتری ہے۔ میت سے پوچھا جائے گا: تیرا رب کون ہے؟ تو وہ کہے گا: میرا رب اللہ ہے، میرا دین محمد ﷺ کا دین ہے۔ اللہ کے قول: «يثبت اللہ الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة» سے یہی مراد ہے“۔

Baraa bin Aazib ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Aayat-e-Kareema "Yuthbitullahu alladhina amanu bil-qawli al-thaabit fi al-hayaati al-dunya wa fi al-akhirati" "Allah iman walon ko dunia aur akhirat (donon mein) theek baat par qa'im rakhega" Azaab-e-qabar ke silsile mein utri hai. Mait se poocha jayega: Tera rab kon hai? To woh kahega: Mera rab Allah hai, mera deen Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka deen hai. Allah ke qoul: "Yuthbitullahu alladhina amanu bil-qawli al-thaabit fi al-hayaati al-dunya wa fi al-akhirati" se yahi murad hai."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏{‏ يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ ‏}‏ قَالَ نَزَلَتْ فِي عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ وَدِينِي دِينُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ ‏{‏ يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ ‏}‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2058

It was narrated that: Al-Bara said about Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world and in the Hereafter It was revealed concerning the torment of the grave.


Grade: Sahih

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے کسی قبر سے ایک آواز سنی تو پوچھا: ”یہ کب مرا ہے؟“ لوگوں نے کہا: زمانہ جاہلیت میں مرا ہے، آپ اس بات سے خوش ہوئے، اور فرمایا: ”اگر یہ ڈر نہ ہوتا کہ تم ایک دوسرے کو دفن کرنا چھوڑ دو گے، تو میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کرتا کہ وہ تمہیں عذاب قبر سنا دے“۔

Ins RaZi Allahu Anhu Se Riwayat Hai Ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ne Kisi Qabr Se Ek Aawaz Suni To Poocha: "Yah Kab Mara Hai?" Logon Ne Kaha: Zamana Jahiliyat Mein Mara Hai, Aap Is Baat Se Khush Hue, Aur Farmaya: "Agar Yah Dar Nah Hota Ke Tum Ek Dusre Ko Dafan Karna Chhod Do Ge, To Main Allah Ta'ala Se Dua Karta Ke Woh Tumhen Azaab-e-Qabr Suna De".

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمِعَ صَوْتًا مِنْ قَبْرٍ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مَتَى مَاتَ هَذَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالُوا مَاتَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ‏.‏ فَسُرَّ بِذَلِكَ وَقَالَ ‏"‏ لَوْلاَ أَنْ لاَ تَدَافَنُوا لَدَعَوْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَكُمْ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2059

It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord is Allah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter .


Grade: Sahih

ابوایوب انصاری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سورج ڈوبنے کے بعد نکلے، تو ایک آواز سنی، آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہود اپنی قبروں میں عذاب دیئے جا رہے ہیں“۔

Abooayub Ansaari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sooraj dubne ke baad nikle, to ek aawaz suni, Aap ne Farmaya: "Yahud apni qabron mein Azaab diye ja rahe hain".

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ مَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتًا فَقَالَ ‏"‏ يَهُودُ تُعَذَّبُ فِي قُبُورِهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
