Sunan an-Nasa'i 1059
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) started to pray, he raised his hands until they were in level with his shoulders, and when he said the takbir before bowing and when he raised his head from bowing he raised (his hands) likewise, and said - َ بَّنَا وَلَكَ اَّ ُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رسَمِعَ َّللا ُلْحَمْد [Allah hears the one who praises Him; Our Lord, and to You be praise] and he did not do that when prostrating.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب نماز شروع کرتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اپنے کندھوں کے بالمقابل اٹھاتے، اور جب رکوع کے لیے اللہ اکبر کہتے، اور جب رکوع سے اپنا سر اٹھاتے تب بھی اسی طرح اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے، اور «سمع اللہ لمن حمده ربنا ولك الحمد»کہتے، اور سجدے میں رفع یدین نہیں کرتے تھے۔
Abdul'lah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab namaz shuru karte to apne donon hath apne kandhon ke balmuqabil uthate, aur jab rukoo ke liye Allah Akbar kehte, aur jab rukoo se apna sir uthate tab bhi isi tarah apne donon hath uthate, aur «Samea Allahu Liman Hamida Rabbana Wa Lakal Hamd» kehte, aur sajde mein rafa'e yadain nahin karte the.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاَةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا كَبَّرَ لِلرُّكُوعِ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَهُمَا كَذَلِكَ أَيْضًا وَقَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ " . وَكَانَ لاَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ .
