Sunan an-Nasa'i 1347
Muslim bin Abi Bakrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘My father used to say following every prayer, ِِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَالْفَقْراللَّهُمَّ إِن ِي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْر [O Allah, I seek refuge with You from Kufr, poverty, and the torment of the grave] and I used to say them (these words). My father said, ‘O my son, from whom did you learn this?’ I said, ‘from you’. He said, ‘the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to say them following the prayer’.

ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد ( ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) نماز کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھتے: «اللہم إني أعوذ بك من الكفر والفقر وعذاب القبر» اے اللہ میں کفر سے، محتاجی سے اور قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں تو میں بھی انہیں کہا کرتا تھا، تو میرے والد نے کہا: میرے بیٹے! تم نے یہ کس سے یاد کیا ہے؟ میں نے کہا: آپ سے، تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ انہیں نماز کے بعد کہا کرتے تھے۔
Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ kehte hain ke mere walid ( Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ ) namaz ke baad yeh dua padhte: «Allahumma inni a'uudhu bika min al-kufri wal-faqri wa 'adhabi al-qabr» Aey Allah mai kuffar se, mohtaji se aur qabr ke azab se teri panah chahta hoon to mai bhi unhen kaha karta tha, to mere walid ne kaha: Mere bete! Tum ne yeh kis se yaad kiya hai? Mai ne kaha: Aap se, to unhon ne kaha: Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم unhen namaz ke baad kaha karte the.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الشَّحَّامِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلاَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ فَكُنْتُ أَقُولُهُنَّ فَقَالَ أَبِي أَىْ بُنَىَّ عَمَّنْ أَخَذْتَ هَذَا قُلْتُ عَنْكَ . قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقُولُهُنَّ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلاَةِ .
