Sunan an-Nasa'i 1908
. Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a poor woman fell sick and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was informed of her sickness. The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to visit the poor when they were sick and ask about them. The Messnger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, if she dies, then inform me.’ Then her funeral took place at night and they did not like to wake the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). When morning came, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was told what had happened to her. He said, ‘did I not tell you to inform me?’ They said, ‘O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), we did not like to wake you up at night.’ The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went out and the people lined up by her grave and he prayed (salat al-Janaza) four Takbirs.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے سنا: جب نیک بندہ اپنی چارپائی پہ رکھا جاتا ہے، تو وہ کہتا ہے: مجھے جلدی لے چلو، مجھے جلدی لے چلو، اور جب برا آدمی اپنی چارپائی پہ رکھا جاتا ہے، تو کہتا ہے: ہائے میری تباہی! تم مجھے کہاں لے جا رہے ہو ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate suna: jab neik banda apni chaarpai pe rakha jata hai, to woh kehta hai: mujhe jaldi le chalo, mujhe jaldi le chalo, aur jab bura aadmi apni chaarpai pe rakha jata hai, to kehta hai: haaye meri tabaahi! tum mujhe kahan le ja rahe ho
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ - يَعْنِي السُّوءَ - عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلِي أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي " .
