Sunan an-Nasa'i 2180
Ummul Momineen Aishah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) did not fast in any month of the year more than he did in Shaban. He used to fast all of Shaban.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سال کے کسی مہینے میں شعبان سے زیادہ روزے نہیں رکھتے تھے، آپ ( تقریباً ) پورے شعبان ہی روزے رکھتے تھے۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam Saal ke kisi mahine mein Shaban se ziyada roze nahin rakhte the, aap (taqreeban) pure Shaban hi roze rakhte the.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي شَهْرٍ مِنَ السَّنَةِ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ .
