Sunan an-Nasa'i 2194
Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur Rahman narrated that Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that he heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say concerning Ramadan, 'whoever spends its night in prayer (Taraweeh) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.’

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو رمضان کے بارے میں فرماتے سنا: ”جس نے اس میں ایمان کے ساتھ اور ثواب کی نیت سے قیام کیا، یعنی صلاۃ تراویح پڑھی اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے“۔
Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu kehte hain ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Ramadan ke bare mein farmate suna: “jis ne is mein iman ke sath aur sawab ki niyat se qiyam kiya, yani salat taraweeh padhi us ke pichhle gunah baksh diye jayenge”.
أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ فِي رَمَضَانَ " مَنْ قَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
