Sunan an-Nasa'i 2197
Ibn Shahab narrated that Abu Salamah told him that Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer (Taraweeh) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.’

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس نے رمضان میں ایمان کے ساتھ ثواب کی نیت سے قیام اللیل کیا یعنی تہجد پڑھی اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے“۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne farmaya: "Jis ne Ramadan mein iman ke sath thawab ki niyat se qiyam al-layl kiya yani tahajud padhi us ke pichhle gunaah bakhsh diye jayenge".
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
